What do you mean if first season didn't exist we wouldn't have this? BS was getting different themes and environments before the Brawl Pass, like Darryl's ship, Super Stadium, Or Mortis's Mortuary (and the graveyard one). Even if there was no BP, they'd still keep adding new environments because these are tied to the brawlers, not always the seasons themself. They only exception is the Tiger's Pit which is inside one of the arcade cabinets in the Arcade environment and isn't home to a specific brawler, it's there cause that was the theme of the season.
If it didn't exist, it still would, because Supercell was adding passes to all its games at that point, it was inevitable that Brawl Stars was gonna get one as well.
