No it’s not she was really progressive through each of the rounds? In my opinion I think she got first place in finals because she’s 1. Eye catching 2. Hard worker 3. She has motivation and 4. Tries to show the characteristics to be an idol! I know everyone else in the show did but I feel she made sure to show she was capable of being something big!

Judges also look for “who fits the concept the most? Who has improved the most from start to end? Who has adapted the lifestyle quickly? Who has potential even with small amount of training? Who has been attracting people’s attention? Who can handle the situation even in their hardest?”

I did not watch R U NEXT. When I saw ILLIT for the first time, Wonhee is the one who got my attention. That’s why I’m here rn watching this video because I got curious about her and made me check out ILLIT. Yeah she’s def cute but what I like about her is her voice.

I believe they let her join probably for the first purpose of letting her gain experience even though at first glance, she may not stood a chance for debut given her skills at that time, which is likely the same thing applies to Ena and some of the younger trainees or lower level ones (per evaluation). I believe Wonhee must have surprised the judges, producers, trainees and audience so much that it kinda turned the tide in her favor and ultimately allowed her to debut
