with production value like this, I had assumed you were already at at least 100k subs, you really deserve more recognition, these videos are good.
Great video, but just one lore error: azeroths inhabitants started in this order: the elementals, the old gods, the titans. Old gods were on azeroth before the titans.

May come a few years late but thank you for this. I recently got back into WoW after 10 years and am doing Chromie Time with alts to experience all the expansions, but it's way too much to handle at once. These summaries helped immensely.

I recently started on a WOTLK private server leveling a DK. I looked for a lore video like this for recap, and damn, what a great sum up of the WOTLK lore. high quality video!
much love, these videos are dope af. As always, I am missing some of the smaller raids but I can understand the reasoning behind leaving it out. The video would most likely be almost double the duration of you would have left everything in it. I am glad you at least mentioned the Argent Tournament, Anub'Arak would have been cool to but it is what it is!

Great recap videos mate! I have forgotten or not even understood the lore behind expansions you have talked about due to my very young age when I began my adventure with TBC and LK (about 10-12YO) and it refreshed my view of them!

Only thing I think you missed was Sylvanas's visit to the frozen throne after Arthas's death, realizing that Bolvar was the new LK. Unfortunately, it was only really covered in a story on the Blizz site.

Dude, the lore is the reason i watch these videos, its not only okay, i actually enjoy it.
My suggestion for you would be for you to go into detail as much as you want and just timestamp it, so that people could skip to the parts that they are actually interested in and learn all they can.

Hey man LOVE your content, subscribing right now. I'm curious....where could one find all of the in-game cutscenes from these older expansions? I've seen some of them while doing chromie time in the SL pre-patch but I know there's more out there I haven't seen.
thanks a lot, i really appreciate the liking and subcribing and stuff. But more importantly- you can find almost all of the videos on the official World of Warcraft youtube page. a lot of the BIG cutscenes are usually found out the end of raids or as the start of a patch, like "rise of the thunder king" "rise of the zandalari" or even something like "ice crown citadel trailer". there are also a couple of youtube compilations that have most of the in game stuff. i hope that helps ya out

The one thing I find interesting about how Blizzard does it’s lore is that they turn a lot of their legendary characters into mad bosses. But on the other hand I guess it can be blamed on the big baddie Titan.
How i know Varian Wrynn was in classic on the Alcaz Island.
Bakuryu Kenji but in the comics he isn't there, he's in Dire Maul or Stormwind which is why he's frustrating lorewise lol. Wrath says, him being on alcaz island didnt happen. a funny thing u can look up is the Wrath Launch event that has the Vanilla WoW model of Varian fighting in stormwind
Much like 99% of the players (including those who did the raid), this video has forgotten about the Ruby Sanctum and it will likely never be remembered unless you’re me who remembers raids I never did for no reason
It was released in, like, the last month of WoTLK 😅 Covering each sanctum would have been unnecessary, but a quick recap of what Dragonrest is/was would've been nice.

I prefer these warcraft videos because others are kind of jumbled and incoherent jumping from one event to the next with no reason as to why.
Tldr: alliance are furries now. The Lich King is killed. But he gets better. Because he makes the undead weaker somehow?
Honestly after watching your lore videos for vanilla, tbc, and wrath it seems like early on blizzard heavily favored the alliance
as a horde player during those expansions, i felt the same way. impossible to know for sure. but alliance players will say the story is horde favored and horde players will say it was alliance favored

Malygos went insane waiting on sindragosa to show up. She died in northrend injured from neltharian. When malygos was awoken by intruders he killed them and absorbed them malygos is the oldest aspect he has power from nirgannon. Killing him was awful and horrible writing on blizzards part
Recaps needed a tad more storylines because they are what we experience while leveling. Not just endgame. Many of these “side quests” are fan favorites that continues in later expansions.
You missed one of the most important parts of WoW lore, man.... The outhouse pooping quest in Grizzly Hills
So basically the Lich King did nothing but just sit around wack some humans and trolls for a laugh.
at the end of his career, sure. but when he was a rookie he wiped out a whole human kingdom, a whole elven kingdom, a spider kingdom, summoned a demon invasion, and woke up then enslaved ancient viking people.
@@Lawllin Yeah but that was ALL Arthas. And, Kel'Thuzad started the demon invasion as planned by The Burning Legion.
Im talking about the entity The Lich King's Armor (Ner'zhul) that outsmarted The Dreadlords and Archimonde while being stuck in a chunk of ice, guiding Arthas and Kel'Thuzad from under the noses of the Dreadlords and completing himself by the end and taking over their undead.
In WoW, he comes off as a cartoon villain that wants more Death Knights and Its like Arthas just went to Northrend to become the Lich King, because reasons . . .

Is it just me or does it seem all of WOW falls into this formula.
1. New group appears out of thin air in a region completely controlled by another major faction.
2. Manipulations by some Greta evil entity ensues requiring all of the world to ally and destroy this evil entity with overwhelming force (no strategy just force).
3. Big baddy dead. Allies break apart and start fighting.
4. Rinse and repeat. It gets old real fast when one God after another corrupts one being after another to destroy the world in much the same way.
Also sending heroes to do everything is such a change form wacraft 1-3 where's armies actually fight not just heroes.
Never played wow it's just the vibe I'm getting from these videos
