Mijn Opa was aannemer en als kind ging ik vaak met hem mee naar de bouw. Inmiddels woon ik lange tijd in west kust USA waar we door hoge kans op zware aardbevingen licht moeten bouwen. Alles hout en stucco. Niet te vergelijken met waar jullie mee bezig zijn

I've always thought trays and weep vents don't really do a lot as I'm yet to see anything coming out of a weep vent - it would appear the Dutch don't think they are needed at all.

Could always use your spacing ruler with a marker and make a mark on the steel that will never be seen.. don’t understand why you would buy tape. But to each there own

Lovely to see some quality workmanship. Not a lot of it in the UK. We have been criticised for being to particular, 😂, that’s what you can & do find working to a high standard in Little Britland. It’s all about the money, short termism mentality equals a shit job, that will cost in greater expense, etc.

@@dutchbricklayers Totally deserved. It's wonderful to see someone that has pride in their workmanship. It's rare these Days. Particularly in Little Britland. Low ambition is rewarded in the dumb country. We started a new business in the States, Texas. It's a completely different approach over there, the States get a poor press in the Little Island but if you have ability & are decent & motivated, the Americans will give you a helping hand, not the case in the Little Island. No wonder it's fucked. 😄
