Remember, they weren't friends until Thomas was Supreme Court Justice. That says what we are really looking at.

Let me get this straight. Clarence Thomas, a Supreme Court justice who rules on the Constitutionality of laws, claims he doesn't understand the law governing full disclosure?! That is pretty scary.

It's even more ridiculous. He is able to infer the intent and meaning of a document written by dozens of men yet he can't figure out how to fill out a form

      EXACTLY!

Forms can be difficult, but, I’m he probably could have had free help. That’s what college students are for, I think.

      Thomas isn't very bright.

All he had to know to be nominated was how to impress Ronald Reagan.

The issue is not whether Thomas declared the gifts/benefits, but that accepted them at all -- including huge payments to his wife.

If the men who voted for Thomas 30 years ago had believed the woman who accused him of acting heinously toward her, we could have avoided a lot of grief. There was a disappointing amount of misogyny on display in that vote.

No one is stating 2 obvious points: 1) once someone gives you lavish gifts, and you know his stand on matters you’re judging, the pressure is great to not vote against your benefactor’s wishes 2) once you destroy the appearance of impropriety, our country’s confidence in the Supremes dies.

Americans to Clarence Thomas: "You should act ethically." Clarence Thomas to Americans: "Make me!"

„strange justice“, written with abramson, is one of the finest pieces of contemporary history I know. it was a stroke of genius when it appeared and is as fresh as if it appeared yesterday. you can read it again and again.

Seems to me the Clarence Thomas case should be brought before the Supreme Court.

Oh yeah especially with 5 of the nine being "conservative" liars themselves. I remember what they ALL said about Roe and the minute they could, thanks to the federalist society, they voted it DOWN! Well, the whirlwind is coming for them in one way or another.

We truly must holler longest and loudest over ethics for Supreme Court justices ⚖️ and government officials who lie.enough of their shenanigans already. Yes investigation is needed now. The way justices Thomas and his wife have carried on has to be taken care of or the Supreme Court will always, all of justices, will be looked upon as criminals

It is IRONICAL and rather cynical that a Criminal on the Supreme Court, Justice Clarence Thomas, is empowered to administer Justice and pass JUDGEMENT on someone who have committed CRIMES .
This seems to be the best example of the best practice in the administration of Justice in US .

The music/tee shirt nostalgia was a heart and soul tug. We rare experience of living through these past and present times is one very special gift as we had acccess to hear if not see these musicians perform for us. Regrets, yes I have more than a few of not seeing some in person. Still very thankful.

Thank you Jane. Your book “Dark Money” opened my eyes to the reality of American Politics. I have recommended it to everyone. You are a National Treasure. Keep investigating and finding the truth.

Currently, it would seem that it should be difficult for anyoneto trust any office of the federal government to ever act in the best interests of the people! I am expecting that nothing will happen, nothing! There is no honor except in perhaps what would have to be called mythology.

It's funny how long it took for TH-cam to dig up anti Clarence Thomas videos. When I searched for these last week they didn't even know about it.
