If not required don't copy the things into windows folder. It contains the system file.

hello I have a robocopy question, if I have in a H drive, and 400 folders, and each folder has many sub folders, but I only want to copy the 400 top level folders and one sub folder that exist in each of the 400 folders, example lets say there is a H:\vic\doclib folder and a H:\Vic2\doclib folder up to H:\vic400\doclib folder, but I don't want any other sub folder of the 400 Vic folders can robo copy do this or would I need 400 separate lines in a batch file which I am trying to avoid....I need to copy all the vic# folders and just the one folder under it to a new server.

copy paste is slow, it skips many files/folders if the amount is huge. Copy-paste gets canceled/stuck if you are trying to copy a large number of files. You don't get logs in copy-paste. Moreover, copy-paste doesn't copy the permissions. Copy-paste has limitations for a number of subfolders and long file names.
