- Assalam O Alaikum. Today we bring our viewers another exciting acceleration run of Honda Civic RS Turbo. Honda Civic X was launched back in 2016 in Pakistan and while an initial Turbo variant was launched, the production was stopped due engine related issues. But in 2019 the Turbo variant was again launched with tweaked engine and a new Variant was introduced known as Civic RS Turbo

I've done it many times in 7.0-7.2 sec with my totally stock 2017 honda civic 1.5 turbo. Wheelspin is the main issue so find a good road first. Hi-octane, S mode, traction off, ac off, brake boost and launch!
Thank god someone actually knows how to launch cars, Amazing work. Best way to launch a car is in sports mode, Traction and stability off, and break boosting it atleast to 2000 to 2500 rpm. Great Job you followed all of these steps.

I have the same variant but Hi Octane high MMT fuel has always created problems for my car. Cat Converter chocked at 9K kms only and now again at 31k kms. I had the same pick when the car was new but since the Cat Chocking episode I feel the car has gone down.

How can we do launch in it ?
Turn off the traction control, put the car in S gear, left foot on the break, press the accelerator fully to like 2000 or 2500 rpm, release break floor the accelerator.

Honda's digital meter have slow refresh rate and that's why after 99 it straight went to 104 rather than showing 100,101,102 and 103. It is a common known problem qith Honda meters inernationally thats why most people use special timing gear. I calculate time frame by frame and with multiple averages. Stop at 1.26 the meter is showing 99 while time is 7.4.80

Brother Civic Turbo has 174 Hp and 220nm of torque and it weighs 1276 kg. This car is capable of doing 0-100 in 7-8s. Go and watch motor trend review. They even clocked 0-100 of 6.8s on sedan version of Civic ( not type R or Si ). Road, weather, tyres and weight plays a huge role in 0-100 times. The owner is also a sub to this channel and his Car is stock.

Then kindly go to 1:26 and you will get 7.7²⁹ at 99

For your sake i just rechecked. It's 7.4.80 at exact 1:26. If you want i can give you a screenshot. And it's not about being hurt. These are not my cars that i review so giving wrong time is not going to give me any good. Go check international acceleration videos of Honda Civic Turbo Sedan. Also with special timing gear. You will know what i am saying. This car is easily a 7s car with proper launch with gripper road and tyres. The owner of the car is also a sub to this channel. You can confirm him for the time.

You simply check 25,26 and 27 at .25 speed i think .. i didn't even decrease the speed and got it you even after rechecking saying that .. it is 7.5 ? Is that stopwatch not working well?

In first 2 runs the road was slippery that's why time is high. In last run you can see the car gripped better.

Tuned Honda civic turbo does 0-100 under 7s. Stock turbo has 174hp and 220nm torque and it weighs 1275kg. It can do 0-100 in 7-8s stock while motor trend even clocked 6.8s in their run of sedan variant ( not Type R or SI )
