So far I've gathered: Ken is fucking amazing.
Fun Fact: Ken is actually modelled,after Joe Lewis,the legendary US full-contact Karate champion,who trained with Bruce Lee,knocked out Chuck Norris and made full-contact Karate & Kickboxing popular in the USA.
Bruce Lee called him:''The greatest Karateka in the world right now.''
There's a cover picture,of Joe Lewis in a red Karate gi,for Black Belt Magazine,which was the direct inspiration for Ken's design.
Just like Ken,Joe Lewis,was an extremely skilled fighter,trained in Okinawa/Japan,while serving as a Marine(he actually got his black belt in 7 months!),who later returned home and became a champion,winning dozens of tournaments.He later created his own variation of Jeet Kun Do,combining Bruce Lee's teaching with traditional Okinawa Karate.
Sadly,he passed away in 2012,from a brain tumor,aftr fighting the cancer for over a year. R.I.P.

Another fun fact. Ken dyes his hair blonde, he's naturally a brunette and is half Japanese.
The character Joe from the first Street Fighter is also based on Joe Lewis.

I think ken is a bit stronger than ryu because most of the time when ken fights he isn't that serious and pretty much obliterate his opponents. Imagine if he took his fighting/ training serious like ryu. He would be almost unstoppable. That's my opinion

Ken is a street fighting family man and runs a business not even training and is able to defeat everyone except for certain characters like Akuma and M Bison and Seth
Robin Williams who cares if he is a family man..? He had the same amount of training as Ryu did while he was with Gouken. If he chooses to be with his wife, so be it.

I find it funny how many people like to shit on Ken, yet Ken, who has a family, running a company, and training a student. He can keep up with Ryu, who is just a wondering hobo that has all day and night to train.

One of the pranks Ken pulled on Ryu was putting a spider on him while he was sleeping. Ryu woke up and felt the spider crawl into his mouth. From then on, Ryu has a fear or strong dislike for spiders.

Ken Masters story debut really starts in Street Fighter Alpha because did not take place in Sagat tournament in Street Fighter 1
My all time number 1 favorite fighting game character. I've been a fan of Ken since I first saw him in the arcades in Street Fighter 2 when I was like 9 or 10 years old. He has such an awesome backstory and I love his cool attitude and flamboyant style when he fights. He's so much more interesting and cooler than Ryu. That red keikogi Ken wears perfectly represents his personality and fighting style...passion, love and fire burning within.
Thanks for yer love and support, most fans thought my backstories and endings lacked hype and emphasis that ain't got much to do with the plot with a "Badly written wife and a son who isn't as iconic." -_-
My personality is basically stylish, unorthodox and unpredictable, as well as being much more violent and aggressive than Ryu.
I'm an alpha male with a giant ego who constantly shows off my bragging rights especially to my opponents. While some call me "brash, egotistical, arrogant and a worrywart" at times, my heart is pure. I'm really generally kind, friendly and a good person, and very easygoing which led me into starting a family of his own. I haven't backed down one fight no matter how difficult it looks.
Like Ryu, I believes in honor, hard work, endurance, and discipline. I always gives worthy opponents the utmost respect, whether it is my master Gouken, or mt best friend Ryu, or even Terry Bogard.

Ken is my alltime favorite character... it is said that Ken has the potential to beat anyone I wish capcom got together with funimation to bring Justice to Street Fighter They Did a GREAT job with (Assassins Fist) I Hope they continue with that.

Ken is the best Street Fighter character of all time. Capcom is stupid for not including him in every 1 of their crossover games and for showing boring ass Chun-Li before him in Street Fighter x Tekken and Street Fighter 5.

And boring ass Chun-Li is not stronger than Rose because Rose is said to be equal to Bison and we all know what happens every single time boring ass Chun-Li goes up against him.

The name of their fighting style is "Ansatsuken", not "Anatsuken". There's "SA"over there ;)
Ansatsuken is the right spelling of Ryu and Ken and Akuma and Gouken fighting style and was formerly Dan fighting style until he renamed it Saikyo

What's the name of the intro and outro you use? They are really good unless they are the same but still good.
I always figured having a family is what keeps him pretty much neck and neck with Ryu. They are the source of his power. Ken doesn't always seem to enjoy fighting and probably wouldn't train like Ryu if he didn't have a family.

Hi "HBTW". Thanks for clearing the fog about Ken's history. I didn't think Ken & Ryu were equal in strength? Ken was quicker less strength & vice versa for Ryu. It's both good and bad that Ken is a recurring Personality in the franchise. But it's awesome that he is not always presented in the same template. Hair, eyebrows, body etc etc. Kenneth Masters "The Supreme Warrior"!!!!!!!
