Hello Aaron. Roja himself clarified that he use only beeswax and ambergris as animal materials. The rest products are from aroma chemicals. He mentioned that in a video uploaded on youtube saying that using other animalic products would be against his own ethics.
@Aaron, as already pointed out by others, Roja Dove himself clarified the usage of animal products in his perfumes in one of his Q&A videos (th-cam.com/video/iQJcfM67EyE/w-d-xo.html&feature=share, from around minute 2:10). There he states that he only uses beeswax and ambergris, which are both 100% cruelty free and do not damage the animals. For the sake of intellectual honesty, I would expect you to either re-publish the video, without that misleading intro, or to publish in the video description or/and in the comments a disclaimer where you clarify that those statements were based on false facts. Should this not be done, then you would lose a lot of credibility and people would find it more difficult to trust your statements in the future, which would really be a pity.
Hey Aaron! Would you ever consider making videos that go deeper on the artist’s side of perfumery? For example videos where you break down individuals compounds/oils, and how they work in a formula? I have been getting into perfumery myself, and am doing as much as I can to learn my compounds, where to source them, and how to integrate them.
Great review,I don't think Roja uses materials that come from animals other than beeswax and ambergris,he mentioned that him self..I personally use ambergris and real deer musk bcs I have millions of dollars worth of it I'm obviously not going to through it away.very nice vid.

True, but fortunately it seems that they’re planning to change these regulations shortly. Hopefully they’ll do so very soon. Btw, concerning Roja Parfumes, they do not retail in China and also do not ship there, so probably they’re safe, from that point of view! :)
Hi Aaron, I hear your strongly-held views regarding animal products in perfume and your objection to the Roja Dove brand because of this. However, do you think you might be mistaken? The reason is that Roja Dove has just released a video where he states that he only uses Beeswax and Ambergris - both being natural bi-products of the animal (the ambergris is found naturally floating in the ocean which is why it is so expensive and rare). You can see what Roja Dove says in his video here at 2.06 th-cam.com/video/iQJcfM67EyE/w-d-xo.html If this does put your mind at rest it would be great to hear more of your reviews from the Roja Dove collection (I like Elysium but I have a hunch you may find that too generic!). Many thanks

Don’t worry, you can continue to love Roja’s perfumes: as pointed out by many reviewers, the statements about the animal note usage in Roja’s perfumes are wrong.
I love unicorns! Lets be best frends aaron!!!
Always keeping it real! Thanks for your solid reviews , I felt the same when I smelt one of his Fragrances danger, It smelled like a mature man to me.
Wenn I shall you first I thought that you must be not so friendly. But I was wrong. Sorry about that. :)
Wonder what you would think of ... PARFUM FINS “MORAH”, FREDERIC MALLES “THE MOON”, and GUERLAINS “BOIS MYSTERIEUX”. All having a dirty time.
10/10 review...as usual, one your best videos from start (bye Roja) to finish. Anyone here not familiar with Aaron, watch the rest of his videos. Doesn't get any better.
The information he gave about Roja’s perfumes are actually incorrect. See some of the most recent comments for more details. :)
Howdy Aaron, good for you that you're vegan💪🏻🍀
Are your perfumes up on your website now in January?
I must say that Anamalic sounds rather intriguing = just the ticket.
And Filth XXL? Tempting, nuff said 😁🏆
Im not vegan. I eat eggs and when my body needs it fish and organic Chicken. But its a smaller amount as possible. I have tried to be vegan an I loose a lot of body mass and start to crave stake. So I find just working the best way I can to nourish my body is a healthy attitude. ATH
What a wonderful soul you are Aaron.
:) ATH
❤️This parfum
overpriced middle aged missionary 🌱🦄❤️
100%
Another wonderful review Aaron. You have a compelling and dangerously seductive presence and......I'm watching. Thank you.
Apparently people watch as I make them tingle. Which makes me chuckle massively. ATH
Forever learning from you. I hate anything to do with animal cruelty just for a scent. thats just bollox.
There is no need to use animal byproducts in perfume and cosmetics. The aroma chemicals are just as good. ATH
sniperwipers, Have a look at some of the latest comments: Aaron’s statements about Roja Dove are simply not true. ;)
he is sooooooo right
Didnt know that about Roja thanks for that. Good Review but Sounds nothing like your Filth so its not catching me. And you really catched me with your presentation from Filth or Filth XXL and also your other Reviews. Keep on being like you are and also thanks for your Video about your Jorney to Perfumes Video.
Thank you for your kind words:) ATH
Those info about Roja are actually wrong. Have a look at some of the most recent comments for more details. :)
I find the house of roja over rated
I did not know that Roja uses real animal products in their fragrances. Thanks for the intro.
Murdoc1984, those information about Roja Dove are mostly incorrect: have a look at some of the most recent comments for more details. :)

Horrible fragrance got a tester my wife told me to wash it off
My bf and I have been meat free for almost 2 years now and we’re slowly trying to go fully vegan. I never consciously use things that are tested on animals it disgusts me!
Most brands that export to China test on animals. They should be upfront about this then people can make informed choices. Not hide behind lame excuses. There is no excuse or reason to test on animals for cosmetics now. We have amazing techniques to make sure cosmetics are safe for use. This is when I love science. ATH
