Garou is a villain, a martial arts prodigy, the self-proclaimed "Hero Hunter," and a major adversary of the Hero Association and Monster Association. He is a former disciple of Bang but was expelled from his dojo for going on a rampage. Because of his fascination with monsters, he is commonly called the "Human Monster." Sitch of the Hero Association views him as a grave threat to the organization despite being only a human.

@@shodore that doesn’t make a lot of sense of course garou’s view on things is a little flawed but then again if you were born as a soft spoken but misunderstood child that dealt with bullying wouldn’t you be able to sympathize with him more he doesn’t show immaturity in his actions as he is willing to stop a fight that doesn’t allow his opponent to fight at their fullest eg: metal bat and although putting heroes out of commission is dangerous for civilians he’s also willing to protect them he kills monsters and hurts heroes for example when Garou was fighting death bullet (not sure if that’s his name I forgot it to be honest) that man didn’t have a second thought about using his ultimate move and hurting tariyou yet Garou fostered all the bullets so tariyou wouldn’t get injured and even when tariyou saw Garou as a monster he didn’t show any sign of anger towards the child what I’m trying to say is Garou isn’t as immature as you think

for some reason i wanted garou to win against saitama i wanted him to know whats its like to lose
tbh when i first saw garou in the anime i immediately thought he was just a psychopathic monster who kills for fun but when i finally saw his past i kinda feel bad for him he was just a normal person person traumatized from the constant bullying ang neglect he received
I really wanted him to be sorta a polar opposite to satima
and its kinda unfair that the monsters always lose ( look at (forgot name) he wanted to kill all humans to SAVE the earth because humans are bad for the earth
thats how humanization works. you can do it with with just about any villain in any story. its an extremely common trope actually, especially since it helps increase the viewers investment in what happens between the villains and heroes in a story more than if the villain was just a shallow sadist.

More than a crazy badass villain, Garou had one of the toughest life in OPM, more than any other, he is like a most attractive villain because of his backstory that he had gone through many bullying even by his teachers, and he had a valid point.
If he dies in the manga, my POV is that the whole fanbase would be sad, his innocent mind changed only because of praising the heroes every time. SUPPORT FOR GAROU THE HERO HUNTER
He didn't die. Saitama let him live and he is now a loader for businesses
Phew. Never been a biggest fan of OPM, but I like to know Garou is doing fine. Because I can respect his determination and enjoy his character.

Garou is such a great character, one of my favourites
i understand Garou's story. I was also abused by my older sibling and my parents always punished me for standing up for myself. And at school, if i ever fought back bullies i'd be the one getting lectured and forced to apologize. Constantly never being seen, heard, or acknowledged as a child. I can sympathize with Garou.

I'm able to talk so freely about it because i've already identified it, healed from it, and have already overcame it by the age of 23. I appreciate your guys' kind words, but i'm doing well now. I'm still struggling to be more assertive and standing up for myself, but i'm still tough enough to take anything from anyone like i always did my whole early life. That's the advantage of what my childhood gave to me, except now it doesn't bother or infuriate me anymore. Therapy helped alot.
So you're telling me because you understand being abused and bullied, like I also do, you somehow understand why Garou goes around attacking heroes that save the public, beat villain's/monsters that kill people and betrayed his former trainer and fellow students and is constantly seeking power to dominate people and want's to become a Monster himself? Make it make sense here. I think that relating to a characters history is not the same as making the logical connection to their response to said history.
What you're essentially saying is if a School kid kids bullied and abused you root for them when they lash out at innocent students and good people like police which are comparable to heroes in this situation. Oh so you got bullied (which doesn't happen anymore for Garou) so ok It's fine to do what you do? Foolish. if you don't think it's fine, there's no reason to like Garou, you should only relate to his past but his views are stupid. "Monsters get bullied by heroes" is equivalent to saying "Criminals get bullied by cops". You guys are weird to me. I'd have no problem taking Garou out permanently as he can't simply be captured and would refuse to be.

I relate with Garou very heavily and I'm sure many others do because he is extremely popular.
He was humiliated and bullied by both sides (good and evil).
I agree with him, its better to be feared and hated than humiliated and pushed over.

Very good anayliss. It answered a lot of questions I had about Garou. Garo is a textbook sociopath. Most sociopaths care about kids but not adults. Notice how he cares about the kid he sits next to but doesn't let on that he does. The artist captures his protective nature of kids by his body language.

Honestly, If Saitama was not the main protagonist of this series, I could totally see Garou taking that place. I heavily believe the theory that Garou has removed his limiter, with his exponential growth within the Monster Association Arc as proof, he literally went from Demon/High Demon Disaster to probably the closest since Boros to Disaster level Go within the timespan of a single arc. If thats not limiter removed idk what is.

The thing that separates Garou from monsters is he still has his humanity. A good example of this, is when he’s fighting metal bat and metal bat’s sister intervenes. Any monster would probably just kill her and move on with their day, but Garou just ends the fight altogether.

Garou never was a bad guy even from the beginning. just misunderstood and plus, I always thought he was kinda of a badass in his own right. I'll love to see him join the hero organisation if he ever decides to that is.
He is not bad. Villians are always supposed to loose , and heros are always supposed to win . Even if the villians are doing something good for the environment and this world .
He just hated the unfairness . He wanted to unite heros and monster together by himself being the greatest threat .

Garou is a true Warrior. No backstabbing. Always seeking to thrive his Character and Combatprowess. And defending the Innocent.
Hes kinda like a sayain the more he battles the stronger he gets
Every time he gets beaten to near death, like really close, like 1 drop of blood away from death, he gains power
He is even better. Saiyans DO NEED to recover after every battle to gain their Zenkai Boost, whereas Garou just "automatically" Reaches his Next Level at the verge of death!

I just realized gaarou felt bad for the monsters trying his best. And then just kills the monsters once he became strong. As a child he cheered for a monster trying to protect the ocean against justice man. And now he would kill that monster without a care for his reasons. He lost his way
