Camping is available nearby at Bark Camp Lake in the Jefferson National Forest with other activities including boating and fishing. The Guest River Gorge Trail, built along the Guest River on what was formerly the Interstate Railroad, is also located in the Jefferson National Forest and is a popular place to walk or ride a bicycle. Recently Coeburn joined with neighboring St. Paul on the Mountain View Trail System for ATVs.

Thank you for sharing Coeburn! My hometown! My family moved to Michigan when I was 14 years old and now I am 70. I have lots of relatives that live there. Haven’t been back home in many years! So this was a special treat to be able to go back home once again!!
Thank you again and God Bless You! 😊❤️

Bet what looked like apartments was once an old hotel. Fosty Bossie has some great food and been open for years. Like the Lays and power company signs.

The building on the right across the bridge has always been office spaces since it was built in the 70s. In the Old Dominican building there are apartments upstairs and I lived in one in the 80s. You should have should shown that there is a modern grocery store and mini shipping center and gas station before you exit into Coeburn

I grew up there before moving to Tn & have family still there I visit. My grandfather and uncle owned the coal Mines for 25 yrs there and my grandparents lived in the blue house at end of this road. It used to be white. The frosty bossie is where we always ate & my parents had their first date there in 69. I’ve walked those sidewalks many times! My aunts house used to be up on the hill behind railroad track where u said the old apartments but we’re law offices. were that was burned down 15 yrs ago and was haunted. We had one doctor for whole town & everyone knows everyone. I was just there for my aunts funeral a month ago at the only funeral home tact I’ve went to a lot of funerals for. The buildings havnt changed a bit and I hope u at at frosty bossie because it’s great! The playground there I broke my wrist when I was 8

@@BigOvlogger That's a beautiful name. I've never heard it together like that before. Loud sounds use to bother the Hell out of me as a child. Firetruck sirens and train horns seemed to be extremely loud. Some alarms bother me to the point I have to cover my ears as an adult. I found out when I was in my forties that I'm a high functioning autistic person or I have what they use to call and diagnose as Aspergers syndrome. Most people can't ever tell I'm autistic unless they know the signs and symptoms well and are around me a lot. I learned being sensitive to those sounds like firetruck sirens and train horns and loud alarms is something that people with Aspergers and Autism have in common. I'm not saying your sweet little baby girl is autistic. She's a small child and some children whether neruotypical or autistic, are scared of train horns and loud sirens. I'm saying I'm autistic and because of that, I don't like the sounds that scare her either and I'm 59 years old. I hope she was alright while you did the video.
