You can make a snowman just by following the steps in the video, no pattern needed 🤗⛄️❤️ However, for my other projects, I’ve created a PDF patterns page that will be updated with new designs over time✨ amcrart.gumroad.com
I cut the sock to about 6 inches for the snowman ⛄️ The tallest one stands at around 5 1/2 inches without the beanie (lower ball 3 inches, upper ball 2 1/2 in ). Sock width: 3 3/8in (Fabric type: 80% cotton, 15% polyamid, 5% elastane)
Nice question. I appreciate your curiosity about the method I shared. While tying the sock is an option, I find that using a running stitch to gather the fabric both in the middle and on top creates a more secure and reliable shape for the snowman. Tying might result in a looser fit, which can lead to the features like the eyes and nose shifting out of place. Additionally, if you tie it with a thread or a scarf, any adjustments you make to fluff up the snowman or the sewn-on details, can easily disturb the shape. That said, you can definitely experiment with different techniques if you prefer! ✨☃️
