it's inconceivable how captivating this actress was from her very first seconds on screen until the end!!! she was truly one of the most enjoyable character on this show; her acting prowess was on another level!
Just finished all of Season One. Wow, what a ride. Forget about Cuckoo's Nest and just enjoy the ride. The cinematography is amazing. The cast! The cast are amazing to watch at their talented best. Coming out is exhilarating, liberating and worth the ambivalence to do so.
Ryan Murphy never ceases to amaze me. AHS Coven was my absolute favorite season😍 but this series is absolutely addictive. Sarah is an amazing actress, and Ryan knows this.
The Lines, The Cinematography, The unexpected plot twists and Jump scares. The whole Series is a Master Piece ✨. Sarah, Sophia O, Finn Wittrock, the whole cast! gave their best.

Every single actress and actor in this show are truly iconic. And Ryan Murphy is pure genius! Ratched is one of the VERY FEW shows that I’ve watched and literally could not stop watching. I finished it in 2 days. 😂 Netflix needs to do us all a favor and post season 2...yesterday!

An astounding writer, director who has created a place for such talented women, who until today, have been so ignored and even left by the wayside at a certain 'age'. This has been rectified with Murphy's casting in Ratched and indeed AHS. Sarah Paulson is more than just amazing as she too is a genius in all that she does. It is always trilling to watch what she has done and will do next with this cast of people and talent pool. The other actresses are such a joy to watch, seeing them give everything in such a rich environment!
This show is well written, and the actors and actresses did a wonderful job one has to appreciate how well it's put together the whole team did w wonderful Job. The twists and turns will leave you questioning every episode... IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT... WRONG!!!

It’s insanely flamboyant and camp. It’s like Ryan Murphy never even watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. It’s not Wizard of Oz where it adapts well into a Broadway musical or something. 😄

Michael Douglas obviously owns the rights to film rights of the book and at the end of the day is the person to green light anything that would be ACTUAL canon to a piece of American art that has been preserved for its cultural significance.
I stopped watching the series after five episodes. While I found the acting to be superb, I found the writing to be garishly over the top and the entire plot unrealistic to the point of it being absurd.
Love these actresses but I don't want to watch a movie about Nurse Ratched, she was absolutely horrible. Why would I care? Also, why isn't Louise Fletcher playing her? Did she die?
Vaskylark, you do realize Louise Fletcher is like 90 years old now so that could be why she's not playing Nurse Ratched also Sarah Paulson is perfect for it.

She was also in the long running scifi series Star Trek DS9 as the wicked and multi-faceted Kai Winn and was voted like second or third best villain in all of Star Trek. Love her acting to pieces she is so good, but honestly she scared me so bad as Nurse Ratched I would never want to see anyone else in the role or even see the role reprised because she was so hideously scary and awful. I don't think anyone can top her performance even Sarah Paulson who is a light weight compared to the likes of Louise Fletcher.
Ratched by Bryan Murphy is overrated. It is a pastiche of AHS. Sarah who is an amazing actress; her performance has nothing to do with Lana Winter (AHS ASYLUM) or Cordelia (AHS Coven) Sorry, because I am a fan of Bryan Murphy productions, but with this one, I was disappointed. The best of this serie, are the visual effects, impressive colors and the recurrence to Hitchcock, Bryan De Palma and Dario Argento shooting scenes.
I love the chemistry between Cynthia and Sarah. Why they haven’t worked in a movie before is beyond me. They should have another movie again.
