I’m a man who has zero interest in putting on make up, not to myself nor to other people. Yet, somehow these videos are so fascinating to watch, and your explanations make them interesting and fun to watch.
Lol I had a boyfriend once who was so fascinated by me doing my makeup. "It's like art," he would say 😅 he was actually an artist but also had no interest in doing makeup himself.
girl, thank you so much for your makeup beginner shorts, they’ve been very helpful to me! I always struggled with the eyeshadow part in particular, but thanks to you I’m learning a lot. I love how you manage to make them so informative, like some people make a whole 10-minute video + ad out of this.
I agree 100%! I've learned more from her shorts than I have in my entire life. My makeup has always been boring or awful but I've tried her tips and tricks and have actually been able to pull some of these looks off! She's the best!
This is the best makeup tutorial I've seen. As someone who has never found someone who would just explain the very basics of makeup, I gave up instead of trying. But you made it so clear, simple, and quick and I love it for that. Thank you♡
Thanks for this girl! 31 years old here and I am still learning eyeshadow application lol 😅 but I didn’t grow up with these makeup trends like how they have now so I’m late to the game lol but these little videos help 🫶🏼😊
You're a life saver!!!! I like occasional makeup looks, especially getting ready for events, so I don't have enough practice with makeup, and your videos are always super understandable and give very clear steps. Thanks!!❤
I feel like I’ve really started doing so much better at makeup but I always get frustrated with my eyeshadow because sometimes it turns out like the right side and other times like the left and I know it’s because I’m not using a consistent technique. Thank you so much for this! I have a photoshoot coming up and I’m excited to maybe get it right this time
You have gorgeous eyes with a great shape that allows for enough room for eyeshadow! One of my eyes is more hooded than the other, I essentially have to apply my makeup differently depending on which eye LOL One eye has a lot of lid space, the other is like a hybrid hooded lid! You are very beautiful, sis! 🥰🥰
This is sooo helpful... will you please share any more tips on how to do different eyeshadow techniques please? Like cut creases or how to get a good wing (and yes I know you've done the wing a few times but I just still can't get it right!!). Thanks beautiful:)❤
I’m a beginner and I love your tutorials❤. Can you do one using the DM neutral palette please? For like an everyday look and easy/beginner friendly eye look. Thank you so much 🙏
It might not look bad because it’s a light color but my sister does the “don’t do this” with really dark colors and it just looks like she doesn’t know what she’s doing. It is a bit jarring to see in person
This is great advice, thanks :) I have struggled with blending for a while, and I know a lot of other people also find it difficult. I was never using a color to blend with, only the brush on its own. I do have a question though, my eyelid crease is a little above my eye except at one spot, where it covers most of the inside corner of my eyes so it makes it hard to really do anything with my inner corner. Are there any ways to get around this? Another tip for if you don't have much space between your eyelashes and eyebrows: When looking straight ahead I measured and I have a little less than a centimeter of available space, for me it seems to work better to do horizontal gradients rather than vertical.
Been trying to get my eyeshadow right for so long. This was literally the missing piece for me. I actually never knew what the transition shade was for. Thank you! ❤❤
I literally did my own makeup/eyeshadow for a wedding I was a bridesmaid for yesterday for the first time ever using your tutorials lol thank you so much ❤❤❤
I THINK I WAS MADE TO FIND THIS TH-camR, LIKE THIS IS HOW TO ACTUALLY TELL PEOPLE TO DO THEIR MAKEUP WITH NO FILTERS AND MAKES YOU FEEL BETER ABOUT YOURSELF
I have hooded lids. As I've gotten used to how to use shadows in a way i like and which works I'm honestly glad blending up to my brows is not a thing that works with my eye shape. (Makes me look like a clown every time) It means i don't have to worry about transition color because it's all hidden unless my eyes are closed.
I wish someone would explain to me like I’m a 5 year old what the purpose of and what exactly is a transition color. Not one MUA has ever explained what the heck is a transition color. They all say “I’m going to use this as my transition shade”! If there’s a video out there where someone is explaining it please direct me to it. Thanks 🙏
Ppl always say go with a bigger brush, I disagree, sometimes using those big brushes you have less control where the product is going. I use very small brushes. Its about density, the more compact your bristles is the heavier it will apply. Fluffy means less shadow, dense brushes pack on more. Size it up to your eye shape and the space you have to work with. Makeup is a custom job, use what works for you.
Can you please make a video on the types brushes you recommend for makeup.. not the exact product names but why a certain type of brush is better than the others for products/ face parts
I’m a man who has zero interest in putting on make up, not to myself nor to other people. Yet, somehow these videos are so fascinating to watch, and your explanations make them interesting and fun to watch.
She’s so great at making these videos. And the looks are gorgeous.
That’s so nice, thank you for watching! 💕
Ani svěcená voda už ti nepomůže.🤣😂🤣😂

You are definitely the most useful makeup TH-camr.❤
That’s so sweet 😭🫶🏼
Absolutely she teaches people how to actually do their makeup. Others just keep making videos about all the sponsored products they get
I agree 100%! I've learned more from her shorts than I have in my entire life. My makeup has always been boring or awful but I've tried her tips and tricks and have actually been able to pull some of these looks off! She's the best!

I've been doing makeup for years yet somehow never quite understood how transition shades work, thank you for this!
Hope this simplified version helped! 💕
A light hand is definitely the key! I learned this the hard way you are a wise beyond yours years

It’s nice to see make up how to’s and tutorials coming back. I’m so done with all make up videos being hauls and reviews.
The do this side obviously looks much nicer but the don't do this side actually lifted your eyes and face a lot more.
I thought so too!
It's because the color came up higher. You can definitely do this! It's all about the shape you create.
But it's SO patchy and blotchy... that would look horrible in real life.
You're a life saver!!!! I like occasional makeup looks, especially getting ready for events, so I don't have enough practice with makeup, and your videos are always super understandable and give very clear steps. Thanks!!❤
Thank you for always sharing your knowledge for us beginners 💜😘
Thanks for watching!❤
YOURE SO PRETTY ❤❤😭
More eyeshadow tutorials please😢you make it look so easy and explain it so well

Thank you for not doing the ridiculous faces and procrastination with your tutorial!! Love it straight to the point
You have gorgeous eyes with a great shape that allows for enough room for eyeshadow!
One of my eyes is more hooded than the other, I essentially have to apply my makeup differently depending on which eye LOL
One eye has a lot of lid space, the other is like a hybrid hooded lid! You are very beautiful, sis! 🥰🥰
It would be awesome to see 'how-to" of the same look for different shaped eyes. I've got the same situation and can't make them match.
Thank you so much for actually showing and explaining properly. ❤
U deserve so much more love honey ❤️
Ive always wanted to know how to work with eye shadows seamlessly with best output. Thank you for these amazingly useful tips and tricks ❤
You just explained something that’s always been elusive to me so clearly. Amazing!
This makes so much sense. ❤
your videos help me so much!
I’m glad! ❤
jess your explanations are genuinely super helpful and foolproof, i appreciate them so much
Pls do video on all eye makeup brushes and what they are used for!
I've been looking for this 10 hecking years!!!!!! Best tutorial! God bless you ❤ & thank you!
Wait that actually looks so good!!!❤❤❤
They look similar
Thank you!! I’ve NEVER understood Goa to get this Smokey look ❤❤❤
Fantastic explination! You make it look easy. I am going to try this. Thanks!
This is sooo helpful... will you please share any more tips on how to do different eyeshadow techniques please? Like cut creases or how to get a good wing (and yes I know you've done the wing a few times but I just still can't get it right!!). Thanks beautiful:)❤
Oh, that's actually really helpful, I don't do make up usually, but in case I do I appreciate the tips👍
Thank you so much for sharing this information! I've always had trouble understanding what a transition color was and how to apply it. ❤️❤️❤️
I've used lighter, almost white/cream shades on the upper part below my brows just to blend my eyeshadow a little better too. It works really well.
You're effectively changing my eye makeup technique ❤
Your tutorials are the very best. They are actually helpful whereas some I see feel like they don't know how to explain things.
You literally just broke down something I couldn't grasp for 33 years of life. THANK YOU!
I love watching people who actually know what they're doing, even though I don't have a clue how to do it myself lol
Ugh I love this, you’re so detailed and specific thank you so much ❤
Another thing is to make sure it's good eyeshadow. If it's not true to color, some may struggle with this awesome technique
I’m a beginner and I love your tutorials❤. Can you do one using the DM neutral palette please? For like an everyday look and easy/beginner friendly eye look. Thank you so much 🙏
Awesome tutorial! Thank you. Please, do more videos like this with basics.
It’s been years since I’ve cared about a beauty tutorial. Great job!
Now this is a real beginner tutorial, as someone who doesn’t doe makeup this is helpful
The "don't do this" side doesn't necessarily look bad - but when shown next to the "do this" version... I can really see the difference
It might not look bad because it’s a light color but my sister does the “don’t do this” with really dark colors and it just looks like she doesn’t know what she’s doing. It is a bit jarring to see in person
It's really patchy, and you need to know that these people were trained to look good in camera.
It probably doesn't look that bad because it's a light colour! Had she used a black or Idk a blue or a green you would have seen it looks really bad
Bless u the only real tip I needed ❤🤌🏼🙌🏼
this comforts me about my bad makeup days bc it looks like she’s bruised to me😭
i swear you are the best, you are like the big sister i never had tysm 💖
Such an educator love it ❤

Ok, at first I thought it would not matter !!! BUT , you are RIGHT - Such a difference - very nice explanation.
Been trying to get my eyeshadow right for so long. This was literally the missing piece for me. I actually never knew what the transition shade was for. Thank you! ❤❤
Thank you so helpful! I was also wondering if u could do a lip liner tutorial?
Best explanation how to do this!! Thanks coz I actually get it now🙏🏽💕
Thank you, this actually does help a lot!
Very beautiful look!
this is so helpful, i’ve been doing it almost right for years but this was explained in just the right way i think i get it now
You are my fave beauty influencer ❤
I'm saving your tips for future use. Thanks so much!
I love your videos
Thank you!! ❤

Does anyone know which makeup palette this is?! I need it in my life!
Loved this video ❤
The Danessa Myricks Groundwork 2. She has it come in two shades only.
Thank you!!! ❤ @@ninipookie
That pallet is so pretty and looks great on you
I've literally never heard someone actually explain how the heck to apply and blend eye shadow so i don't look like a clown. Thank you!!!
Beautiful! Now if only I could get that perfect eyeliner wing first try 😅
Gorgeous! Thanks ❤
Nice tutorial 👍
my makeup has become 1000x better because of her channel ❤️❤️❤️
A million like ❤ THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIP!
Love love love your videos!
I find you so helpful, thank you
I thought windshield wiping motion was a thing when applying eyeshadows! 😂😂😂
Me too! All my 2010s makeup knowledge is in question at this point haha
The motion is fine, it’s the brush that makes it so hard to blend along with not using a transition shade!
I like your explanations thank you
Also, how / where you hold the brush is extremely important. Always hold the end of the brush with light pressure. You’ll get the best blend that way.
i’ve yet to see a hooded eye makeup tutorial that actually works 😭
I love both!!
What is this eyeshadow palette brand, please, tell me??!!!! I need it!!!!!!!!!! So many perfect shades 😍
the lashes r so pretty :o

Thank you! I couldn't figure out how people did this eyeshadow look.
I love both❤❤❤

Love the tutorial! By any chance, could you tell me the pallete you're using, it's stunning 🤗❤️❤️
Your tips are so easy and spot on!!
Glad you like them 😌🫶🏼
Hey, would you please post the big fluffy brush you used. Your video is super helpful. Thank you!
I love this! I just bought eyeshadow for the first time ever to play with. What brushes are you using for the tutorial?
You're what us brazillians call "querida" (someone dear but with more affection). You're an exquisite teacher, thank you!
it does make a difference, thanks for explaining thoroughly haha I've been wanting to make a smoking eye
Can you please tell me what is the brands and numbers of the brushes you used from beginning to end? TIA
THANK YOUUU, i was trying so hard but it never come out like the tutorials i watched ❤
love this instructional video • great stuff
Can you please make a video on the types brushes you recommend for makeup.. not the exact product names but why a certain type of brush is better than the others for products/ face parts
I did not know this and I’m glad to finally learn this. I always did it like on the left.
