Thank you Amy, I love that you just get stuck in and give it your best shot. I thought these efforts were very good. I can't wait to see what comes next.
This is so real and relatable, as I often find a project needs to be paused due to other demands or a need to upskill. I think your things were very pretty!! Well done!
@@amyrobertson6075 thank you! I think it's important people see the actual learning process, so often we see peoples perfect end result and not the mistakes. I love learning but it's not always instagramable perfection 🫣
Wow good job on learning to use the lathe. My Dad has been turning wood for about a decade now and his lathe honestly scares me. Maybe I should ask him to make me some fancy crochet hooks. I'm not sure where you are located in Melbourne, but in the Northern Suburbs there is a wood turning group around Bundoora if it turns out to be something you want to pursue further.
@@lavendercottagefibrearts oh wow I didn't know that, that's awesome, I will definitely look into the group, thank you! You 100% should get him to make you some hooks!

@@minsadmin awe thanks so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Extra special as you get to remember them while making and using the tools.
@@Klcnaus it really is, it's so nice ❤️
