I work for Louis Vuitton and it comes in the box like that when it's shipped to the store when a person comes to pick up their order we wrap it with the ribbon that it came with it just looks like the person was lazy and didn't wrap your stuff

I think that is how LV is packaging things due to covid. There was a stretch of time when people were not getting ribbons at all. I have gotten no ribbon, the ribbon around the gift card, and the ribbon tied as usual. Just random!
