I tried doing that and it lagged too much and made the plane really heavy which resulted in the landing gear collapsing

This is actually really fascinating. This could be used as such a good tool for explaining how mid-air breakups propagate. It looks like it doesn't really take into account too much in the way of aerodynamics...? Or perhaps the planes just aren't travelling fast enough, but even so, really fascinating watching how they break apart from a single location

The main problem I've seen with the 767 seems to be the fact that the wings are way too easily fall off the plane, the wing is supposed to be the strongest part of the plane, not the first thing to break on contact with anything.
