    I love the way you have explained the crops! I only shoot in Capture one and yes the overlays changed my life and styling to the camera is magic... Just ensure you have a battery relay for your camera and it will shoot all day! Thank you for your awesome work and always giving. Being part of the Artificial Academy has improved my photography to a level of shooting professional.

    When I started shooting for Instagram, I suffered! Because I’d forget that my composition now has to be different to account for that crop later. I’d always remember once I downloaded the photos and struggled to crop them in a pleasing manner.
    Nowadays I’ve gotten used to eyeing my composition with the 4:5 crop in mind. I wish cameras had the possibility to pick your crop as you shoot.

    Thanks for sharing this Joanie - very helpful 🙌 I want to create my own overlays in Photoshop (or Canvas) and just want to know what I should be aware of? How do you make these? Thanks in advance ;-)

    Hi Joanie, my tethered setup has the camera looking through a mirror, so I need to flip the live view feed to properly compose images. Capture One Pro has options for flipping downloaded images, but I can't find a mirror/flip image option for the live view feed (just orientation). Am I missing something, or is this option not available?

      Shoot in 16:9 aspect ration. Simple. And follow this video accordingly.

    You’ve got me wanting to try Capture one! Why does there appear to be a separate purchase of a license? Is this a requirement?

    • @TheBiteShot
      @TheBiteShot  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They offer a 30 day free trial if you want to give it a go. Otherwise, yep, they offer either a purchase of a license or a monthly subscription fee.

      I'm not as up to date on Lightroom these days, but I do have an older video that I assume still applies to how it's handled in lightroom th-cam.com/video/r1bCL9h9yxM/w-d-xo.html

    Honestly, I can't express how many times I look at my little camera screen and love the photo just to put it in lightroom and realize that after I crop it the composition is basically ruined.
