I love that that there’s a scene (in another movie) of JLo unable to get her dream cast, then Krasinski’s here with, “What? Like it’s hard?” cracks me up!
I’m loving this trend of unconventional Brad Pitt roles. He’s still doing roles that are remarkable, and even if he has no lines, it’s hilarious just knowing there’s basically a literal empty void filled by, unbeknownst to us, is Brad Pitt, until we’re told.
I think it's just reynod trying to set a future joke for deadpool. I imagine Deadpool will meet brad pitt in the future and make a joke about his invinsible role.
I’m not gonna lie I was judging this movie 30 min in and ended up loving it. The message behind this movie is beautiful and it genuinely almost made me choke up
I've said this before, but this is one of only a handful of movies made nowadays that knows and understands the meaning of nostalgia. It's not about just making lots of old pop culture references in an attempt to sell itself to old moviegoers - it's a feeling. It's the reason why that old pop culture is still looked at fondly today! It's about memories of being a part of that culture and all the happy times that came with it! And who else could collect and curate those memories than children? *That's* what nostalgia is really about: It's about tapping into your inner child to *remember.* And this movie shows this in all the best ways.
I’m an oldster - The Little Princess with Shirley Temple! I saw IF with my HS bestie. We laughed and cried. I think this is mis-marketed as a kids movie when it had the same feeling for adults as Barbie did last summer. Once I figured out I had to ‘suspend my disbelief’ - letting go of the danger aspects of ordinary life - it was such a return to a time of innocence and magic. We can all use that. Thank you! ❤😊
It's that voice 😂. One thing about Awkwafina is no body gon drink that damn water, but she sure about to be in an CGI/Animated movie 😂. And I thought Kris Jenner and the devil worked hard
My family and I just went to see this film and I throughly enjoyed it! It was really beautiful. Anyone who didn’t enjoy it, was probably expecting something it to be something it was never going to be.
Watched this with my small kids and they actually loved this. I feel like it could have been better, but for what it is, it isnt bad. I definitely agree that it feels like one of those old kids movies from like 20 something years ago. I appreciate a simple family movie like this. ❤
karsten runquist, Chris Stunkman, Foundflix, and DeadMeat dude. I LOVE LME but you gotta watch more people and give credit where credit is due. Also you said you'll watch movies you haven't seen after you have seen them? Also punctuation will be nice cause it sounds like you're saying you'll watch a movie you have not seen because of a video but at the same time you still say you haven't seen the movie. Not trying to be rude but I had to re-read this like 30 times, brother lol.
Outro question: Earth to Echo, super underrated movie. I remember the trailer for this and watching it in theaters. It is still my comfort movie and deserves more than the 50% critic and 47% audience score.
I was so confused for a second then I realized you meant "Cimarron". I think autocorrect was being a bully. Lol I loved that movie too and I think my sister and I watched it so much that it actually scratched the disc. We still don't know how it got scratched but that's why I believe the DVD player did it.
I never cry at movies, but the hospital scene.. that made me cry. Im a bit touchy about losing loved ones, but still the topic doesn’t get super touchy-feely for me. But then… the way they presented it, the way she just seemed so desperate and afraid.. it reminded me of myself, and i wasnt sure whether to laugh or to cry, so i did both.
I actually liked this movie. Although I was annoyed with all the damn kids in the theater. I enjoyed it. The marshmallow scene killed me lol, Blue IF warmed my heart when his kid remembered him before going into a corporate interview, Blossom IF also when grandma connected with her had me in tears. But my favorite favorite IF was the Detective IF. lol.
Everytime I see a stacked cast for movies like this, I just think "Easiest paycheck in the world for like 2 minutes of dialogue and not even having to really act.", in a worst case scenario, of course. I still don't know why Mutant Mayhem needed the stacked cast it did when most of them barely had any lines. Jackie and Ice Cube were the only ones really flexing and why did I go off topic?
Barney: Treasure Island 😂 it was the only video we had growing up and Barbie: Princess and the Pauper cause my sisters and I loved Barbie growing up and playing with her dolls 🎉
Okay now I REALLY want to see this movie. I have alot of childhood films but the one that gives me a feeling of wonder, it would be Princess and the Goblins.
I saw this with my mum and we agreed the had like a creepy awkward atmosphere most of the film, like even if you ignore all the stalking the timing just made a lot of scenes… off. And her never questioning how The Clown knew her got more and more contrived as he made it super clear they where acquainted and she just never has follow-up questions
I actually went DARK with this movie. What if unplaceable IFs were matched with terminally ill children so they could cross over with them to heaven. How dark is that?
I had 0 interest in watching this but had to pause around 8:40 to take it all in with the twist cause I truly didn't see that coming. This movie is gonna either be a cult classic or one of those truly underrated things. Even before the twist of the IF just touching the guys shoulder and him not feeling alone anymore has me tearing up in my big age. Mr. Blunt is for real going places as a director. I'm curious about quiet place day one (even though its not directed by him). I can't wait to see what they do with the 'Life on Mars?' movie if it ever gets made cause its been in production since 2018 and he's made Quiet Place: Part II and this in that timespand. The premise of that movie sounds extremely good.
So it's just Foster's Home story with Drop Dead Fred live action element. I guess technically it's fine because this is a film for the current generation who won't be watching those. DDF is really old now, most modern kids aren't going to be charmed by it (and their parents will baulk at the dirty jokes anyway) and even Foster has aged out. It's 15-20 years old, guys! What happened???
I just watched this movie and I admit that I found it quite boring at first but the movie just keeps getting better and the ending is simply beautiful, I loved the Plot Twist, I loved the Creativity that the Production had with the Designs of the characters IF Ryan Reynolds acts so well with that girl, I was moved in the end in so many ways, I really didn't understand why the critics didn't like this movie.
7:55 in 2014 Ryan played a character where he hallucinates his pet cat telling him to kill people. He could have just ruined that day for the kid who asked about serial killer having imaginary friends.
1 thing that surprised me about this movie was that Cailey Fleming was the lead in this movie, and she is cute. However, there were times where I kept looking at her saying in my head “She looks a lot like Teagan O’Sullivan”. I showed proof of this to my family, and they all believed me.
I have a high expectation of this movie. first watching the trailer, I'm pretty convinced this movie gonna be good I'm gonna like it. but in my humble opinion, this movie would be better for those parents with small kids. cuz even tho i dont have kids, it give a sense of parenthood, watching your only child getting older. that must have been hard... i keep weeping in the cinema bcos one, I easily cried and overly touched for whatever heart flutter moment. and the plot is just... kinda mindless. like sure the girl can see IF, and then what? next thing you know, she had to find all those adults who abandoned IF. and turns out Ryan also IS her imaginary friend 😭 I find the plot is a bit boring and at one point I get sleepy 💀 it's very light hearted but I imagine it would be better. not a bad movie, 3/5
As a kid, this movie looks fun. But for an adult this movie is kinda creepy, this movie looks like it's based on someone who suffers schizophrenia. Seeking for something that she can talk to, or can comfort her through her troubled times. Bea is creating those IF's as a compensation for the loss of her mother and the fear that her father might be next
I've never been the first commentor (I'm just lucky right now), and its on a creator that I really like! Cool. I love watching Let Me Explain, Thanks for making great, funny movies with great explanations!
My childhood movie was Stand By Me Not exactly made for kids, but my mother let me watch it if I didn't repeat any of the swears. It's still a classic that's very close to my heart and I rewatch it often. Just so odd in retrospect that it's based on a Stephen King story yet there's no supernatural or horror elements to speak of.
I think the dad and the matchmaker guy look the same. I even had someone else watch it with me near the end and he agreed in fact he’s the one that said it first. I don’t know if it’s body size or the face But the only difference I see is their hair color. I found myself fighting sleep so I think the movie is a bore. I found myself wanting a Fosters home for imaginary friends movie though.
I’m in my 30s man. I liked it but didn’t love it. I think it’s a great movie for family and kids. I think it would definitely be classic but I felt it ended very abruptly. The last 20 mins felt like it was a safe choice and producer had a say in it.
What childhood movie will you always defend?
#SmartHouse
Minutemen the certified hood classic
Rugrat First Movie. My first cry from a movie when I was a child.

I love that that there’s a scene (in another movie) of JLo unable to get her dream cast, then Krasinski’s here with, “What? Like it’s hard?” cracks me up!
That's exactly what came to mind. Everyone said 'yes'? JLo must be fuming.😂
The difference is jlo said "a bunch of random people and friends" to play it off 💀. Girl can't act and I was suprised she got the cast she DID lmao
Maybe she just could’ve said they were *ALL* invisible with no lines…
I’m loving this trend of unconventional Brad Pitt roles. He’s still doing roles that are remarkable, and even if he has no lines, it’s hilarious just knowing there’s basically a literal empty void filled by, unbeknownst to us, is Brad Pitt, until we’re told.

Awkwafina agent really working
She be in every animated/ animated style show.
I know right? She is stalking this generation of kids. Her voice is imprinted in their childhood. 😂😂😂
It's that voice 😂. One thing about Awkwafina is no body gon drink that damn water, but she sure about to be in an CGI/Animated movie 😂. And I thought Kris Jenner and the devil worked hard

The research of movies is unlike any other TH-camr I watch I will watch the videos you made about movies I haven’t seen after I’ve seen them

severely underrated
I think most people forgot that film existed, but yeah underrated.
Saw it once. I remember it being cute.
My childhood movie is Spirit: Stallion of the Cinnamon. I just remember the music and emotion!!

This movie intrigued me from the trailer and it was a pleasant surprise! I cried a ton during it, it made me reminisce about my own childhood :)
SAME I WAS SOBBING THROUGHOUT THE MOVIE 😭
Like- id finish crying and then another scene id start crying again
This movie made me cry towards the end and that doesn't happen often. It's so much deeper than the premise would make you think.
8:44 turns redder than Deadpool lmao 🤣
I never cry at movies, but the hospital scene.. that made me cry. Im a bit touchy about losing loved ones, but still the topic doesn’t get super touchy-feely for me. I remember watching Igor all the time growing up. It was my first time exposed to dark humor and it did have good songs in its soundtrack.
