I also forgot to tell you, for making the spawn icon with sketchpad, change the image size to 512x512 which has to be the spawn menu size AND the normal picture size.

if anyone recently removed all their addons to get new ones and the old ones are still in the addon folder than delete everything in the addon folder than start a game and leave gmod

Hi! The tutorial went really well, it helped me a lot, but I only have 1 problem. So, the audio doesn´t work UNTIL the nextbot kills me, like, when the nextbot kills me, the audio starts playing then. And when I remove the nextbot from the map, the audio stills go on, Any help or tips? (I want the nextbot to play the audio when it spawns, but it doesn´t).
Yes. I had that experience with the original sanic npc before. I do not know how it can happen, but I know what you are talking about. It may have been because the nextbot you made it out of.

Non of my addons are in file folders like yours. They are in GMA files I also downloaded stivi and he won’t show up. I tried to use another nextbot but it won’t let me open the files any fix?
It is normal for them to be in GMA files; you need to drag them onto gmad which I explained in the vid. Try installing sumbi maincrapt.
great tutorial, I'm just wondering how do I fix the fact that when my nextbot kills me, a picture of sanic appears in the Kill icon instead of my nexbot photo
How to fix?
I’m pretty sure it’s because there may be an addon that causes that. With some of my nextbots, the killicon is another nextbot I have installed, so for others it may not show up.

why is there nothing in my "addons" folder? there is only the lua folder which is in the harrysmod folder. I can't create my nextbots😭

Download it from the steam workshop and it should be there.

@@marios4e932 either the file location in the lua is incorrect or the project rate is not 44100 or 22050
512 x 512 isnt working, it changes itself to 640 by 640 when i view in files!
Try rescaling it in sketchpad, put the format to 512x512 and load your image in there.

When I click on the stivi maincrapt file it tells me to open it with an app. How do I fix that?

when i spawn it, it shows up as a missing texture and only makes the death sound when it kills you, any way to fix this?
can you tell me what the image name is and what the lua file name is?
@@e-g_youtube the image name is npc_Mystical and the lua file is npc_Mystical.lua, also, i used the Horobrane addon instead of the stivi one

I know how to make some 3d models, but I am not too experienced. I will try to make 3D nextbots if I get better at my 3D modeling program.

@@Anthonyofficial581 the 3D modeling program I use is called “Blender”, it is on steam. That’s what Elías_Bravo.25 used to make his 3D nextbots. It takes experience because it is not too easy.

@@DivinePudding133 in your lua file, click “search” then “find” then search “speed” then it should say 650 or something then you can change it
@@e-g_youtubeOk so I pretty much completed it but there's no audio at all. Also the speed is pretty fast still and I'm not sure how to fix that . I've been using the Giygas nextbot since the one you used is no longer available. I've been pretty frustrated because of the two issues. I have a ton of nextbots downloaded but only the Giygas one is in my addons folder for some reason and not the 10+ others. I attempted to download a couple of others off of Steam and they still wouldn't show. Would you know which nextbot I can use? I'm sorry if I come off as annoying, I really appreciate you replying back.

How can you make a killicon? It shows up as Sanic
You have to make a 512x512 picture, then make it into a vtf file. You can make vtf files using VTFEdit.

when I spawned my nextbot in game it had no icon and there was no textures or sound
did you name everything npc_example? Like I did npc_iorn, so that means for everything it has to be npc_example. If you need more help, contact me on steam.

it has the texture but it only plays the death sound and my audio is panic.mp3 the same as the lua but its not playing for some reason
might be because the sample rate is 48000 (it must be 44100 or 22050) spawn the npc then tells me if it says something about the audio being 48000 in the console

@@wulftea you have to use audacity for it. You have to load your audio, then click “audio setup”, then click “audio settings”, then you will see “project sample rate”, then change it to 44100 or 22050

yes, it is the project rate of the audio, or either the wrong file location. I cannot explain how you can change the project rate because I have stopped helping people on March, 1st. Try looking up a tutorial on how to.
