1:10 Love how Lydia looks downward after saying she's strange and unusual, avoiding eye contact to convey her insecurities. Then Barbara immediately supports her, like a loving mother ❤
She was such a beautiful young girl. Sure she's still a beautiful woman now but in the first movie, the youthful beauty and Goth 'misunderstood' loner character was so compelling. Lydia was so cool (and a fan favorite).
I always thought that Lydia was so lucky! She starts out as 'the weird loner' but ends up with Ghosts as 'family' who look after her and care for her. The only downside is that ghosts will never change and she'll age and eventually pass away, but the UPSIDE is that she knows that she will eventually be reunited with her real AND extended family. :D
How is she "lucky" if those ghosts eventually moved on? Also, they might have been her friends but to say that they were her "real family" is too far. She eventually got along with Delia and then she would have her daughter and by that time the ghosts would be a distant memory.
@@yevgeniyaleshchenko849she helped them to move on, likely when she was ready to let them go. And she knews that they are somewhere in the afterlife. The Maitlands however helped Lydia to reconcile with her family as well. So I would say that Lydia nowadays maybe still consider them part of the family, even if distant
I just look at young Winona and think: “Millie Bobby Brown”. It’s so strange how identical they look at other ends of the age bracket 😱 And also genius to cast them TOGETHER in Stranger Things.
What sexual perversions? she said Delia had taken a Valium which is why she wouldn't wake. Also Deliah is her step mother who Lydia doesn't see as any kind of maternal figure or parental
I thought cameras are able to pick up ghost frequencies in a way that our eyes can’t. So, why didn’t Lydia’s camera work and capture Adam and Barbara on film? 👻 📸 🤷🏻♂️

"You look like a regular girl to me". Such a motherly thing to say
Winona Ryder as Lydia was my first ever goth girl crush ❤️
and now It's the last

I enjoyed the sequel but it made me sad we only got one reference of these two. they were the foundation of the first film.

Prince qualude❤
She said Prince Valium. Like Prince Valiant, get it? No? Nevermind....
@@ellenhyde8381 Prince Valium is a character in the film "Spaceballs", a year before this.
I get asked this question THATS REAL but I’m not on tinder
I love the fact Lydia is aware of her parents sexual perversions. 😂
She’s not happy she’s aware of their sexual perversions.
*parent and STEP Parent.
What sexual perversions? she said Delia had taken a Valium which is why she wouldn't wake.

Imagine all the stuff they did she even got aware 💀
You’d never know this was Winona Ryder if the only other video you saw her in was “Stranger Things”. She looks so….NORMAL…in that.
That shows how well she was acting in STh

Who knows. Maybe the type of film Polaroid used for those cameras couldn’t capture that, or the film crew couldn’t add the feet in with cgi.
Wow it’s taking all my mental will power to not think this is Christina ricci

Am I the only person who watched this when it first came out and thought it was a load of absolute meandering drivel
Yes you are.
