Recently I’ve been trying to find non-screen time hobbies. I realized I would end up on instagram without even noticing I opened the app or I’d get bored on the app, exit, and reopen because I was bored again.. I bought a book of sudoku games, decided I wanted to learn to cook, and picked up crocheting! Having non-screen related hobbies has actually done wonders for my peace.

usually a quiet watcher, but i really want to reply on this.
this is such an eye opening video, usually i am spending my time with the most unimportant stuff, scrolling through my phone the whole day, not realizing how my day just went to a waste. i can never talk enough about how we are all slaves to phones and our parents were right. sometimes i don’t even know my self anymore, and just following everything of the trend, everyone is the same person nowadays. it’s so important to be reflecting on your self by shutting of all your devices. finding, knowing yourself is important.

The advice I can give that I know many have benefited from; many Muslims struggle with this but we may be more inclined to want to find a to end this cycle of constantly wanting to be stimulated by a device because in our hearts we know there is a better way we could be spending our time. And whilst your approach is valid, I think you should try looking at the problem a bit differently. Now I don’t know if you are a practicing Muslim and only Allah knows best what your intentions are… but you don’t actually need to be doing nothing and be okay. The point of this dunya is to use that time to do something that will benefit you in the aakhiraa and qabr. Such as reading quraan, performing better salaah and just being in the state of ibaadat. In this way, you are doing “nothing” in this world but doing everything for yourself to be a better Muslim. I believe in you Muhammad Amaziane and I make duaa that Allah SWT guides you and keeps you on the right path. Eid Mubarak 🤍

really enjoyed the middle segment and the part where you talked about changing your personality to appease certain people. it’s definitely something i’ve found myself guilty of doing, especially when i began working in a corporate setting (i was only 20) where your sociability matters a lot in determining what your colleagues think about you. but now that i’m a bit older, i’ve realised that i shouldn’t care so much about what others think of me nor should i change who i am just to fit in. it’s exhausting keeping up a fake persona and if people don’t vibe with who i genuinely am, well that’s too bad
anyways, that aside, i loved the video and the whole concept/message behind it. my mum would love it too, she’s always lecturing us about our phone dependency and how it’s shaitaan lol

Not me watching this video while cooking because I can’t stand being in a quiet place. But honestly, this made me reflect about my life so much. In this day and age, barely any of us (especially gen z and younger) can spend time without being on a device or on the internet. Like… look at me, I need to watch TH-cam when cooking, listen to a podcast while cleaning and watch a show while eating. I’m constantly on my phone. But for me personally, I feel like it’s also because I grew up in a very loud house with a lot of people and now that I live alone because of university, I’m just trying to recreate the environment that I’m comfortable in. I need to compare myself to how I am when I’m back home for vacation and see if I’m just attached to my devices or if I’m doing it because I’m alone.

I actually really like your impulsive videos, that's why I subscribed to this channel initially because of the little randomness in your old videos. I do love all your videos (planned/not very planned) but I just want to say don't feel disheartened if you feel like your videos aren't planned enough, I and I'm sure other viewers really enjoy content like this :) I think I'm a really impulsive person too so I suppose seeing others do impulsive things is quite entertaining. I think it also feels a lot more real just like this video - to me super thought out videos seem a bit fake/too unreal if that makes sense. Like I enjoy them of course but videos like these are the best. That touch of randomness makes it so much more aligned with reality (imo).
