Courtney Silver, President of Ketchie, joins us on Manufacturing Muscle to share her inspiring story about how she began her career in manufacturing.
Courtney married into the Ketchie family and founded Ketchie, Inc. a few generations ago. After marrying Bobby Ketchie, she started working at the shop due to economic challenges. Her background in accounting and finance helped straighten things out during a tough period. Shortly after joining the shop, Bobby was diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed away in 2014. Courtney, respecting and loving the Ketchie family, felt a passion to carry on the Ketchie name, and she did just that. Wow, what an impressive and inspirational episode! Oddly enough, I live less than five minutes from the Ketchie facility, but didn't know anything about them until now. I predict a long, successful future for both Ms. SIlver and Ketchie, Inc.
