Zagoorland and right u are, respect your favourite artists. The only thing I wanted to do was to create a dialogue (in youtube comments shame on me ;-) ). But you are right, their music is pretty good.. In their sub genre. But I think there are a lot of peole there who feel misunderstood these days. If you listen to this track, you only hear good old analogue techniques, you hear for example analog kicks wich you cannot buy anywhere in sample packs because they are created from scratch by the artist (blawan in this case). The level on production is so much higher on this track and should have more attention. If some people see a dislike on these uploads it creates a feeling like: "hey, why does this track gets a downvote and another less perfect production not? This track doesnt deserves that, it deserves more positive attention". imo, its to bad, artists in the more commercial sub genre are being attacked these days, because they dont play live or their productions arent on a level like this track. But on the other hand,.. Yeah the genre is getting raped by the "modern techno gods". Throwing hands in the air, exclusiveive rooftop party's, and so one. Techno is underground and played in the underground, not on facebook, and it should stay that way.
Actually Tale Of us productions are pretty decent. Especially the mastering of their songs is too damn perfect. The problem here is this: Tale of us do not want to create "mainstream" or "modern" techno. They just create tracks that represent them and their style, however that style happens to be welcomed by larger numbers of people and ends up becoming modern and mainstream. Personally i enjoy both; the underground and the more commercialized tracks and appreciate them both for giving to the techno scene so much. Cheers
