I just bought one on Ebay! Can't wait til it arrives! I loved the cartoon as a kid and the movies when I was older. My brother had the fire station and the action figures. He past away way too soon and I want to make this awesome set in honor of him. If he were still alive, I'm sure we'd be building it together.

I like the original Ghostbusters movie and this set takes a lot of the original and puts it into perspective so I think I might get this if I have enough money after I buy the death Star and the Lego helicarrier

Imagine the people who created this set from scratch...and counting every piece if I were them I'd be like "oh about a 3 thousand or so...

Yeah, they do the design work online, then they get the parts and all that printed separately. That’s how LEGO Ideas works, they have to have a digital copy so they can make the instruction manual with, as well as all the other moving parts like printing off the stickers for each individual set. Lots of work put into each individual set.

Hey this is really good set so much decorations and interior inside and thats very nice!! because lego creators have really good stuff in it like pet shop and stuff they dont give you that much to pu tinside like interior.

holy molly when you look at it you never think this thing has 4,200+ pcs! amazing build, the amount of detail in this one is crazy!
I've never been so excited about a set! I can't wait to build this. Poor Winston didn't get a locker or a bed, guess it's because Winston was hired after they set up shop.
lol. This guy. I wonder what he would think after knowing that in the original movie poster is only Venkman, Stantz and Spengler depicted. Actually he was a 2nd repertoire actor or maybe a 3rd? He , Melnitz and "Slimmer" but the real ghostbusters cartoon ascend them to first repertoire. And the real cast of main character was Tully and Barret, never mentioned in the american japanese cartoon.The real tragedy is that the 3rd movie never came out and Harold Ramis already passed away. No more ghostbusters movies unfortunately...Sony? Who´s that bia**???!!!!!
Fast forward two years later, there IS a new Ghostbusters film that continues the original story.
Certainly one of the biggest and nicest lego model.
So now we know what the Ghostbusters do when they need to unwind... They play the Ghostbusters arcade game! 15:16

Yes I like both sets :) For me is Ewok Village one of the best sets I have ever made :) And Ghostbusters too :) What is your another favourite sets? For me it is Haunted Hause, Kwik-E-Mart, Death Star, The Tumbler and The Shield Helicarrier :) and yes I like big sets :D
I LOVE the kwik-e-mart set :) also, one of my favorites is Jabba's Palace and The Millennium Falcon, Star wars is probably still my favorite set ever besides Simpsons, Ghostbusters, and I hope they make Lego Wizard of Oz sets :)

For over 4,600 pieces, $350.00 is an absolutely outstanding value! That's not to say it isn't a hefty chunk of change though. The level of detail on the interior and the exterior of this structure are simply insane! Ghostbusters fans are living the dream right now, those with $350.00 to throw around that is.
Now if only i was rich...

This set is a fully mass produced item and is now available around the world. Due to its immense size, the 3rd or 4th biggest Lego set ever, I can't quite remember which one, it is to my knowledge only available at a Lego Store and on Lego.com. I think it is a Lego Store and Website exclusive. If you want it, start saving lol!
