These turned out great and I loved seeing the resining process! Thanks for sharing!! I hope you are having and absolutely amazing trip!!!! Get home safely!!!! 🥰
You are the best! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge - and for the details you provide! I haven’t tried to resin yet, but am getting close to doing it and needed this information! I have learned so much from your videos. Regarding the pieces you need to re-resin, how do you sand them? Do you use a light vs. heavy grit and how much resin do you need to sand off? Thanks again!
And don’t forget to scrape the bottom and sides really well while you mix…and never again after you finish mixing. You are so awesome Lisa, you know I love everything you do. This is so very informative and wonderful for beginner resiners and not beginners as well. You are a great teacher. And wow the viscosity of that resin is thick. And I can’t believe the ‘real estate’ you can cover with a ‘small’ amount. And do let people know that no matter how scary it is, sanding works and it really does get smooth as glass after that. I know you don’t usually sand, but sometimes it is needed
Hi Lisa I watch your videos all the time and I’m learning so much, this video was awesome I’m going to resin some of my art I’m not that scared any more thank you!
You didn't mention about getting them perfectly level. I test with a level. You resin is way thicker than mine too. Mine pulled away from the edge and unsure why. Thank you 💗💗✅
Just starting to learn about resin. I wish I knew what the pieces are, except for the coasters. I don’t even know what they are. Wall art? I’ll look also to see how you get the designs on other videos.
Perfect timing! I am going to resin a couple of pieces tomorrow. I do have a question. When sanding a piece, do you sand all the way to the bottom? Or just rough up the entire piece?
Wow, that was very informative. Thanks for that free tutorial.😊❤ your joy to watch as well😂✌🏼 the only thing is the pieces that you have up for sale… It would be helpful if you would like give a price😉 or is that 🤫🤫 thing online?
Great tutorial!! Do you re-resin a piece if you find one or two little dust specks in the surface? That’s my bane!!!! 😢 I don’t know if those tiny imperfections are acceptable.
Great tutorial! I struggle the most with getting clean edges with good coverage even on the cradle wood panels-- do you have a tip for what you do? Aside from running your hand along the sides do you do anything else to get good doming? Thanks!! 💕
When doing a larger painting would you have to support the canvas from the back to prevent pooling? I tried to do one once and it all pooled to middle.
Hi Lisa! Thank you so much for this resining info! I have a follow-up question: I understand that you should remove tape no more than 24 hours post pour. If you need to re-resin a piece when you find a resin blemish, do you remove the original “resin” tape and re-tape before the next coat of resin…OR do you go ahead and re-resin, then pull the original tape after the second resin coat dries?
Do you prefer canvas or mdf ? What kind/size -thickness of mdf boards do you use? Does one work better for certain types of pours than the other? Thanks for your input- I love your work!!
Thanks! Great video and your explanations and demonstrations are top-notch!!
You are the best teacher..I hope to meet you one day in person at one of your retreats!!

Your favorite ( the one you're keeping for you ) is also my favorite. The colors are really beautiful.
This was an interesting video. Thank you.

Great teaching video.
Great video! As you were pouring the resin I was literally saying “bloop” 😂
How do you remove the tape after the resin has hardened?
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
When do you remove tape ?
I love the colour of your gloves!
Awesome video and awesome pieces!!! You’re very fun to watch ❤
How long to cure your pours before you resin?
Thanks Lisa! You're a great teacher 💕
Great teacher today 🍎

Thank you for your awesome teaching ❤️. Where do you get your wood panels from?

Just rough up the top :)

No just more resin around the edge when you pour :)
What is the brand of resin and do you know if it's heat safe. For coasters?

Oh I don’t follow that rule about taking off the tape lol. Yes but re-taping if you need to is fine!
But just resin again with the same tape
@@lisamarvinart thank you!!!
I have seen people use a resin handheld mixer. Does that work? I got one from let’s resin.
Do you prefer canvas or mdf ? What kind/size -thickness of mdf boards do you use? Does one work better for certain types of pours than the other? Thanks for your input- I love your work!!
Wood always for blooms and better for resin!
Thanks Lisa! Do you scrape the edges after resining like you do with paints?
Never mind, I’m sure you don’t have to because Chris does such a fabulous job of taping them!
What is the mdf thickness?
This is cradled. But .5 inch is fine!
