Japanese Bands do what ever that Western Bands did not do or don't want to do in their songs and music..... and the result is SO AMAZING.... 🤣🤣🤣 I was just like you when first watching this song from HANABIE ..... they just done live shows tour in US 2023....🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yukina (vo), Matsuri (gt/vo), Hettsu (ba/vo) were friends in the music club in school where they formed a band played Maximum the Hormone covers. If you know MtH then their influences are obvious. Masters of switch ups, tempo changes, and catchy riffs with agressive and playful vocals. You should check out Alien by MtH
Japanese rock/metal is where it’s at. So much fun and so much talent. I’ll suggest Gacharic Spin-I Wish I or Replica, again you will be pleased and surprised.
Hanabie started out as 'Maximum The Hormone' cover band, who can be described as the Japanese originators of this 'chaotic' mixture of styles and music. For many of the bands or musicians that you've gotten to know in recent weeks (Band-Maid, Nemophila,...), they are role models and a great inspiration for what they do. Yes, some channels out there have uploaded videos from them and seem to have luck with it, thanks to overlays and/or pauses every 20-30 seconds, but I can't really recommend putting videos from MTH on your channel at this point, as their label or the rights holders are unfortunately anything but friends of reaction videos or the like. :( If you want to try it anyway or just want to watch it on your own, then I recommend their MV for 'マキシマム ザ ホルモン 『予襲復讐』' (Yosho Fukushu) and you'll understand what I mean. :) _____________________ 「 _"Our rock never dies ever. Trust me, even after listening to three songs, these girls will still surprise you. Tousou might knock you out of your seat, Reiwa Dating App Generation surprises with a completely different style and if you also do reactions to songs without music videos, listen to the scream madness Tales Of Villain. 🤘❤🔥
Check out for yourself Chika the drummer teaching the crowd how to say HANABIE. It’s on TH-cam. Also I saw them live in Japan play with another elite Japanese band called Nemophila. Try their song Raitei or Dissension for starters. My two favourite bands.🤘😍🤘
@@TRMReacts62812he is right Nemophila is pure and mean pure 🔥. Hanabie opened for them early this year, Nemophila covered Pardon Me and Yukina sung with Nemophila in that show. I would start with Nemophilia’s 1st song Oiran live in the following link as they are amazing live. Oiran by the way is a high status prostitute from the Edo period. Think Geisha but a prostitute as Geisha are not. th-cam.com/video/5qABnfChpbk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vhkVeNt_cZzLYPqa
Hahnah bee Eh that last mora with a long Ā sound. Just like the vowels in Spanish. These ladies are such a trip. Raw, but great live as well. If you want to know their influence, check out Maximum The Hormone, "Youshu Fukushu," or 'Hungry Pride" as starters, then go check out one of Hanabie's older tracks, "Envy" and you'll hear the MtH influence straight away.
Hi, I’m new here. I’m from Japan and I have fun watching your reactions lately. I love Hanabie, Nemophila, Babymetal and so on. If you have time, I’d like you to react the band called Crystal Lake. The best all men metal ore band fromTokyo. They never block from TH-cam. The best songs of them, are Apollo, Devil cry, Aeon, Curse and many other. The lead vocal, Ryo Kinoshita has the best voice. Please check them out!
Hanabie, actually started as a cover band for Maximum the Hormone, Yukina - lead vocals, is inspired by the co-founder and lead vocalist (rapping & harsh vocals) for MTH Daisuke-han! To understand better the Japanese metal scene now - look deeper into MTH - founders - Daisuke-han and drummer Nao, who brought her brother later on, Ryo - guitar and clean vocals and Ue-Chan - bass! Hanabie, Nemophila both have made covers to a huge amount of songs by MTH! Tamu Morata, Nemophila's drummer even went to an audition with MTH, to play with the band as she was deeply inspired by Nao. They are all connected in terms of influences...Maximum The Hormone, this is where you need to look at))) Enjoy the ride. The US metal scene can't offer me anything anymore since I found Nemophila, and through these modern day Goddesses I found the rest))) rock on th-cam.com/video/tKZbHjy9GWM/w-d-xo.html
Pronunciation and audio levels 👌 They started out as a Maximum the Hormone (Japanese metal) cover band in high school. So yes, they pretty much always rocked!🤘
Harajukucore is a 7 course meal for the musically inclined. It contains the all the genres a growing mind needs. Now for an administrative comment. Your volume seem perfect. Your voice + music levels are right on. Everything is five by five As for the Hanabie pronunciation - pretty good. Just say it flatly, don't emphasize any syllables. Ha-nah-bee-eh
That's one of the things I admire most about this band (and Matsuri as primary music composer in particular): mixing this many genres and influences into the same album (and often the same SONG) really should result in a confused, unlistenable mess. But they knock it out of the park every single time.
Metal in Japan has been weirdly big in the culture for a while.. In the 80s, metal guitarists would be on talk shows all over the country.. And I guess it just grew from sending boys to learn music to both boys and girls. Seems a very Japanese thing to excel in whatever you're doing, so it kind of makes sense that musicians gravitate towards metal and the amount of women doing it is just far more. The generation of female only Japanese metal bands is a rabbit hole once you start lol
Maximum the hormone is one of the bands who inspired bands like these girls/ lovebites/ nemophila babymetal. Some songs worth checking out... ALIEN Lets talk about Koi no sperma koi no america Yoshu Fukushu :)
For the “Hana” part (it means “flower“) the first and second “a” have the same sound, as in “mama.” Say the “e” as in “bed.” (Because you asked.) Japanese musicians do not “do the K-Pop thing,” but they might do the J-Pop thing. Reiwa Matching Generation, a social commentary/horror movie masterpiece, made me a huge fan of MATSURI’s unique vocals - th-cam.com/video/LOs_Th_qyIs/w-d-xo.html
One of my favorite things about them is their sick riffs played under Kawai vocals. Love Yukina clearing her throat in their strawberry heads going from tough to Kawai. Try Neet Game next.
Hanabie = Han-ah-bee-eh = Harajukucore = 🔥🔥🔥🔥you can check out their first and second videos from their first EP - “Time Out” and “Envy”. They started well and have just got progressively more awesome since.
So glad to see you enjoying Harajuku-Core. Hanabie (Han-NAH-be-eh) just brings so much joy to metal in a way unlike most bands. Be sure to check out "Tousou", "Reiwa Dating Apps Generation", and"Neet Game". Hope to see more soon
Need to take a look at "Reiwa Dating App Generation" both Yukina (lead singer/growls), and Matsuri (guitar/clean vocals) both spit some bars. Yes, the pronunciation is a soft eh not a hard eh.
Poor girls, the craving for sugar is so strong but they are expected to be slim and petite. That is the basic message of the song. In the ordinary way, I would recommend further earlier Hanabie material for you. In that way you would get how incredible the song writing is for a young band. As you have recently reacted to Pardon Me, I suggest Tousou (Run Away) next as it contains the boss character, from the Pardon Me, MV.
Hanabie is basically an all girl version of Maximum the Hormone. The only way to get the pronunciation right for Hanabie is to hear a Japanese person say it. I wish people would stop telling non Japanese people how to say it. It doesn't work and it doesn't matter.

Kawaii metal doesn't apply to Hanabie as a genre. You need to have the idols, the dancing and proper J-pop segments and/or structures in the songs. So stuff like Babymetal, Passcode & Broken by the Scream is kawaii metal, but definitely not this. Hanabie are metalcore weirdo punks who watch way too much anime xD

Yukina...4' 11 of scream power...😍😍😂😂
Yukina is like 4'10 with her shoes on :P It's even more wild live, she is tiny and an absolute monster.
