I think what kills it for me isn't the song, it's the title sequence. The original was largely symbolic and showed subtle hints in the different objects and whatnot of what to expect, and appropriately felt very much like the opening to a show. The break in the middle for the announcement before cutting to the 2nd half of the intro was also neat, and imo original UD just has my favorite horror game intro (which ofc the song would carry over to the Dark Pictures games). The new song is rightfully good as well, but the intro just isn't as engaging. It somehow feels lazier with tossing in character clips from the game on top of objects related/important to them and just overall being less subtle.

They have a license - they use O’Death in EVERY game from DP anthology and remix it in every way possible 😂 I like refreshing some stuff but not when it comes to literally the most iconic song from all of their games.
i thought this opening was great, an upgrade from the last one, and o death was really good. I also just really like this opening.
i kinda prefere O'Death. (i am hope someone somewhere make one of those videos when they insert the original song, they did smth like that in MW2019 with the OG MW2 song)
Is it me or does this sound like a james bond song 🤔 good song though
This song is better than O'Death
