Te Paki Sand Dunes: spectacular Ngāti Kuri tourist attraction

Te Paki Sand Dunes, just south of Cape Reinga and off Te Oneroa-a-Tōhē is a major tourist attraction during summer. The Te Paki stream below serves as a road and Ngāti Kuri descendants monitor the traffic and public because the area can be dangerous.
