    I love the fact that even though this is an artist signature model, it doesn't have that over-the-top signature markings or those corny 12th fret custom inlays that you see typically on artist signature series models. You still feel like it's your own guitar.

    Hearing that it has a 24.75 scale length makes me want it more. Scale length isn't a deal breaker but i find myself more comfortable on my guitars with that scale length.

    • @felinekaiju4517
      @felinekaiju4517 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Tbh, scale length doesn't bother me. I've had Gibson's and all the metal brands and tbh, I think I enjoyed the Les Paul despite the fact it was gloss on the neck, 24.75 and the clunky heel joint. I might even end up going back to 24.75 again with my next boutique custom build.

    Dude 24 3/4 is my preference really fret work is maybe the most important thing. If people are really complaining about 3/4 of an inch maybe they are stuck on 1 string guage. A big example is like if you have a travel guitar you put a heavier guage on it or i have 1 guitar that works well with a hybrid set

    • @jimmybags1494
      @jimmybags1494 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      eh for me I feel too cramped on a gibson scale length, I've got long fingers and I've been on a fender scale length for so long that I kinda can't handle the difference, even if it is only 3/4 of an inch. I'd have thrown money at one immediately if it was a fender scale length, but to each their own!

    Personally I love the 24.75 scale length, and there so few guitars with a Floyd (or any other trem for that matter) in that scale, I knew I wanted it. The only thing giving me pause was not knowing if there was neck dive, which you addressed in your prior video (yes, I'm one of those people, lol!, my one guitar pet peeve). Just received mine a few days ago and love it. I think the price is justifiable as well, considering the ESP cases are $200, the stainless steel fret upgrade and it being Korean made.

    • @NoQuadsNoMasters
      @NoQuadsNoMasters ปีที่แล้ว

      Just an opinion, neck dive doesn’t matter with a star or Rhoads shape (kind of any v) because you will naturally end up with that lower horn on your leg.

    The only "issue" I found with mine was that the 4th tuner post is staggered, while the rest were not. I assume that was an error on the assembly line. It didn't matter because I put Gotoh locking tuners on it anyway. I also swapped out the Blackout with a Black Winter and set it up for D Standard with 12's on it. And I absolutely hate the strap button locations. Otherwise I love mine to death.

    • @louderthangod

    Are stouts your go-to style? Also I didn’t realize that the 1500 Floyd was basically a 1000 series with upgraded parts. So it’s basically a marketing ploy?

    • @ArnoldPlaysGuitar
      @ArnoldPlaysGuitar  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Seems to be. ESP calls it a 1000 SE, Schecter calls it a 1500. I think it’s less marketing and more brand-specific semantics. Same thing though…a 1000-series with better screws.
