I love that she resembles Carla Gugino. I think the cast all look similar really helps imagining them as a family. The young actors also resemble the older actors portraying the same character. So much care went into this series. I was blown away with how well this series was executed.
This show is for intellectual people that actually care about character development and the story unfolding majestically rather than jump scares every 20 minutes and gore everywhere.
You don't need to be "intellectual" to enjoy Mike Flanagan horror. He just makes good horror movies. It's not that deep. And he always has. Where have you been?
You don't need to shame people who do like that jump scare/gore type of horror. This show is great and definitely worth the watch for just about anyone who likes horror. That's it.
This show was one of the best series I’ve watched on a long time....so well written and thought out and the characters has such distinct individual stories and it was just scary enough. So good!
No disrespect meant, but I hate how UNPREPARED interviewers are when it comes to HORROR projects specifically. Mike Flanagan has an amazing track record of high quality horror movies, and _almost_ everyone on the Hill House cast has worked on a previous horror with him. It takes you like an hour of homework to figure that out. Why is that so much to ask.
pickle tarts nope, its a 90’s horror 🎥 🍿 I highly recommend it. Many details from the film are in this series. Like a total different universe version .. but all names and characters and personalities and set details and fabrics and more . Its satisfying to watch. Watch’em both Netflix series , 90’s version and black n’ white 60’e version too . ♥️ 👻 🏰 ✌🏻!!!!
Mina Tavera The 90s movie is trash, the 60s movie is one of the greatest horror movies of all time and the book it’s based on is amazing, the Netflix series is just as great. But the 90s movie is just terrible
The first time I watched Gerald’s Game (Carla Gugino) I thought it was the actress from the Twilight series (Elizabeth Reaser) and watching the trailer for the haunting of hill house I even got them mixed up whoops
I'm pretty sure that if someone didn't like this series is because they didn't really understand it. I can be wrong, of course, but that's what I think.
Kind of upset that he spent like a third of the interview with her not talking about her work first, it almost seemed like he wanted to interview mile flanagan but couldn't
Nah it's normal I'm same, I just feel like in THOHH her character was wayyyy more developed and had more personality than esme (tho I prefer Esme, because of her backstory that wasn't shown in the movies)
I think it's bizarre and kind of amusing that this somewhat "handsome woman" thinks she looks so much like Carla Gugino, who is REALLY BEAUTIFUL, especially since the actress who plays her sister Theo on the show actually DOES really kind of look like Carla Gugino.
Your probaly got this mix up with series Haunted that came out on the 19th, boy. Cant be serious. This was a groundbreaking show. It is a slow burn at first but by episode 5, things really start to get very interesting.

The casting was PERFECT!! And the use of flashback technique was impeccable!
The young and adult Nell impressed me. They both had this vulnerability to them- almost childlike, empathetic, and tender.
This is what I keep telling my friends
I honestly thought it was Carla when I saw Elizabeth in the first scene !
my thoughts exactly!!
Binged this show in 2 days and loved the twists and anxiety it produced. Great characters and story plus it made me jump a couple times.

Like Hereditary.

it actually has a jump scare every 20 mins
I’m not really a fan of horror, but this series was amazing!
patricia Horne Me too!!!! I did close my eyes at some parts 😂, but it was incredible! And I’m glad I finished it because now I’m not scared anymore.
Same but the story was so good the horror was a side show. One of the best seasons of a show I’ve ever seen.
This show was one of the best series I’ve watched on a long time....so well written and thought out and the characters has such distinct individual stories and it was just scary enough. So good!
She is so pretty and her smile is beautiful omg.
Awesome show! It's like a hybrid of Six Feet Under and The Conjuring/Haunting! Creepy but with a lot of depth!
mymy definitely took me back to SFU which is an amazing show itself.
She still looks beautiful even at age of 44
She is pretty, but your phrase makes it sound like beauty has an age limit.
No whay shes 44
She’s 44 not a corpse
I really loved this series, very, very well done.
I love this actress

Gonna watch because i loved The Haunting so much.
Fine, I'll watch it with you.
Mina Tavera Is ‘The Haunting’ another Netflix series?

I missed her! Twilight days 😍
True she is amazing
But she's so underrated
The first time I watched Gerald’s Game (Carla Gugino) I thought it was the actress from the Twilight series (Elizabeth Reaser) and watching the trailer for the haunting of hill house I even got them mixed up whoops
same when I first saw Carla I thought it was Elizabeth and I was so confused
The casting was great. They all did look like a genuine family. Especially Kate Elizabeth and Carla

I kept looking for peripheral ghosts while watching this series. I'm finding myself doing the same thing with the blurry passers-by on the street...
Kind of upset that he spent like a third of the interview with her not talking about her work first, it almost seemed like he wanted to interview mile flanagan but couldn't
A very talented and gorgeous actress
Awesome series...
My question is where did you get those shoes?
A shoe shop.
She loves The Shining, not realizing that Hill House is basically a better version of any Shining that currently exists lol.
Such a gorgeous woman.
theres the water department in the backround
He's one of my favorite interviewers! Love him
hmmm. i don't find they look alike. I find Carla's face more round and features softer. Both are beautiful.
While watching the show, I thought Carla looked like an older Jennifer Lawrence.
Is it weird that I like her better in THOHH than in twilight even tho I’m a huge twilight fan😐
Nah it's normal I'm same, I just feel like in THOHH her character was wayyyy more developed and had more personality than esme (tho I prefer Esme, because of her backstory that wasn't shown in the movies)

I loved this series. But did n;t think it was a horror show. Moe about a family who needed to forgive each other
She was the hottest sister fo sho.
Jim Jurkowski helll na 😂😂😂
Theodora was way hotter IMO
hard agree!
She's so beatuy.
no its not im 8 and i watched it

Watch a couple of episodes?! Bored the shit out of me
M Skallywagg really!? I thought it was one few horror shows that actually had an intriguing story, not boring at any time! It is an Great show
Short attention span troll.
Probably too scared to watch it. We know.
