G 'day Christian. I have recently used these patterns to arrange "Wasted Years" by Iron Maiden, The Cure's "Friday I'm in Love" and even Creedence's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain". They all work brilliantly covering different styles of music. I know you know this haha, but some of your students might be interested to apply these patterns to different styles. If I can do it... they can too. Thanks again and hope they haven't locked you up yet. Love from Melbourne 😘

Thanks, Allison! Iron Maiden was actually the first thing that came to my mind when preparing this lesson! :-) (Kiss was second...)

It was so good to hear especially when you were modulating from D7 to G7 in the Bb scale I think. Then in the next tutorial you should explain us how the used chords are related with to major scale.Thank you.

Bruce wakes up at 4am. Learns Greensleeves. A beautiful melody with a nice rhythm. Thx Christian. Its the perfect start to a summer day in the tropics. You and some of your students and may be interested in Rick Beatos interview with Tommy Emmanuel yesterday. It’s a fascinating insight into how a master musician thinks and works.

Well, when Rick Beato invites me, only then will I remotely start to compare myself to the guys of that rank. So, most likely never…😀

The first one that you showed it doesn't seems really good for major chords. I prefer it just for minors.

Not necessarily. You can also grease the bottom side. That's what I do.
