Marmala waterfalls is one of most magnificent & highest waterfalls in Kottayam district, Kerala, India. The route towards the falls is so beautiful with lots of snowy mountains and thick greenery all around.This stunning waterfalls is located at Teekoy village. It's around 25 km from Vagamon and 13 km from both Erattupetta and Poonjar in Kottayam district. And this is a place that should definitely be included in a trip to Vagamon.
This area and the weather here are quite captivating.Small streams can be seen flowing at many places along the way.This fall is situated in the middle of a rubber plantation.This fall is so beautiful with a plunge pool below.The visiting time here is till 5:30 PM.
One connecting place to go is illikkal Kallu ( A huge boulder atop a hill) from here. It's around 15 km from here.
