Man…people say road bikes are boring but this, this is what give you the thrill. It reminds me a lot of the fixie type style of riding through the streets going wild. Ik very few people will understand bc not everyone would want to do it or have the setting to but it just shows that it can go beyond riding in a flat well paved trail.
What a blast! After spine surgery my cycling “career” is currently at least on hold. Watching this one, I got really emotional. There is so much in it that cycling meant to me 😭
What an atmospheric film Brian! So cool to watch! You really do live life on the Edge! You can tell you were a Courier in NewYork the way you weave through the traffic and hitch a ride is exhilarating to watch and Massive respect to you for your hard work and effort putting these videos out there for us all to enjoy👍🔥🔥🤘😎🤘🔥🔥
@@SAFABrian😊 ahora yo en mi ciudad, aunque aquí por poco me llevan fue hace tres días es que aquí sale de momento los coches aun me falta rebasar los como tu lo haces
Such a great video! I loved the still film photos. It brought back many fond memories riding in DF with BiciGallos - dinamos, desierto, paso de cortes, lagunas de zempoala, centro ceremonial otomi, la loma, etc.
That was pretty much the best bike film on youtube I have ever watched. Amazing atmosphere, compilation of sick, technical rides, great smooth edit, fucking perfect man.
I remember a chat with you about your vision to create cycling film that are more in the skate/surf film artistic expression. Well, here we are dude! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You have balls of steel! I am Mexican born and raised and would never ride a bike there 😂 way to live out my fantasy for me so that I don’t have to. Super talented.
Looks like a blast. I studied abroad in Cholula like 23 years ago. El Popo was always in view. Great footage like always. Love how you can sense the adventure and exploration on this one....
Safa take care dude. When I was younger I loved riding in traffic, it’s another skill that has to be learned, was never mad about going into dangerous tight spaces though eg between 2 buses or trucks. Fantastic skill, awesome skills in traffic, keep the black stuff down.
Excelente video Safa Brian muy bueno, espero que para tu siguiente aventura sea en la carretera de Huixquilucan, la marquesa, chalma esa tambien es emocionante
I’ve seen 50 of your videos but this is bordering on self destruction. It’s not a matter of if but when. And it’s gonna be heartbreaking for all of us.
Just a reminder that cycling doesn't have to be on an alpine trail to be cool. The best route is often the one that starts from your house and you go explore. That said, I don't think I will be cyling down a highway holding onto a dump truck and trying to peer around the corner to see if someone is about to hit me.
I love this because I love riding on freeways with cars. It is not for everyone, but it is absolutely possible to coexist with cars if you start slow, accept what cars can and cannot do, and put your mind to it and full commit.
In Mexico you must have a 3rd party insurance, so you as an auto driver are hold responsible for any injuries to others. While police investigation happens, the driver of the auto is jailed until proved innocent. Good for the bike rider if he is in an accident, not cool for the auto driver if he éncounters a freak coming his way...
"Great freedom with great danger, you have to accept both or neither." gives me chills

Awww
Hope you have a speedy recovery!
Hope you heal quick. Ride lots!
Thanks for all this videos of Mexico City, the way you show it is amazing. Mexico City is a lot of things, but the way you show the city is unique.

I was a courier in Mexico City for 6 years, didn't do too much in NYC.

All amazing places to ride! I was going to film the bici gallo and lagunas de zempoala but was too sick. Next time!
Is it only me who worries about you going so fast in traffic. You are a living legend man.
Not just you
I love what he does, but really cringe sometimes. Scares the crap out of me! Still I can’t take my eyes off 😂

Anyone who loves riding will appreciate this one! Pure adrenaline you captured it all. Just doing your thing.
Nice to see some "older" rim brake bikes on show as well that keep pace or outpace some of the modern bikes too.
Chingón Brian, que bueno quw estás de regreso en el Defectuoso saludos desde Cancún compadre

Muy divertido! Never saw that side tuck before, and some of gaps looked barely handlebar width!! SAFA Rocks!
Chest cam necessitates the side tuck

Glad you mostly enjoy the channel, Brent. For some context here is the first video I uploaded 10 years ago th-cam.com/video/u5LbBAyUkPA/w-d-xo.html
@@SAFABrianI agree with Brent. Your content is very exciting without taking unnecessary risks.

My kind of riding ❤
Is this guy still alive?
More alive than most of us will ever be.
I've ripping the ecobici in Mexico city the last 4 days. It's been fun not having to follow traffic laws.
Scott foil meets Mexico City 👌🏼
Very cool and my dream😚
Was that Cooper Ray around 3:11 on the highway decent?! crazy seeing you two in the same vid
Did you change up the on bike camera? Looks different from the usually GoPro.
