Just FYI it's not a bug that the prisms can mine from a mine without a collector, this is from the patch notes from the 30th: *Prism* - Health decreased from 400 to 260. - Now has the Light tag instead of the Heavy tag. *- Can now mine from a Luminite Mine without the aid of a Collection Array.* - Up to 4 Prisms can mine from a Luminite Mine, up from 3. - Prism Luminite mining efficiency decreased by 25%.
@@BeoMulf No problem, a lot of people thought it was bugged on discord too. And perhaps they are going to change it back, I don't know, but it was intentional on the 30th it seems. Personally I find it an odd choice, harassing Celestial eco was already hard. If you lifted the array from the ground, you did actually do some damage, the prisms also stopped mining. Now the only reason to build an array is for the laser and that it costs 450 lum instead of 600 lum for 4 prisms, for 300 lum per min of income. Anyhow, thanks for casting, was fun seeing a vanguard win vs Celestials.
If you mean lancers, I'd say you're right. If you mean scouts, I'd disagree. The scouts are cheap and fast enough that even if the vectors micro well it's really hard for them to trade well. If there are any light forests the scouts can use to ambush it's even harder. The issue is that it's pretty hard to actually get v-claws before the vectors hit you on most maps. If the vectors hadn't taken the time to creep I think they could have hit before the upgrade and been basically uncontested
He's talking about CaptainAlex making some micro mistakes with his Vectors in the game he lost - most high level vanguard feel like they can't beat this vector build unless their opponent makes a mistake
This was TANC 14 from last week. I've got the VODs of most of the games I casted on this channel - hard to put single BO1s up due to being too short, though
He brought the morph core to kill the trees and let the vectors into the health camp

Man, I could have sworn I saw devs in the discord talking about how this was a bug that would get fixed in a future patch. TIL - thanks!

i dont think this works if the vector player micros them a bit better.
