Mona looks like Rio. Latte is a good boy and deserves churo too as he waits his turn. Leo is slapping babies again. Loco reminds me of Nagi. Emma looks like Gela in the face. Mila looks more like Leo. Lulu and Latte look alike in the face. So good to see photos of previous babies. All of them are such beautiful cats.

Thank you for your constant efforts of making videos and livestreams! I was happy to see your beloved former kittens all grown up - everyone is so beautiful and seems content in their new families - especially Nagi who is inseparable from his brother ❤.
The current kittens have put on some weight, Mila being the lightest, of course. After playtime and dinner everyone's batteries went out, Mona fell asleep in a funny manner.😊
Some of Lulus babies are super fluffy, like Mona, Emma, Moco, Figaro, Rio, Noah and others. I wonder if Leo has some british longhair or persian ancestors since he himself has moderate fur...
The longhair gene is recessive and would therefore need to be passed down from both parents, which means that both Lulu and Leo carry it from somewhere in their family trees.

How does this work? Can she have kittens with Scottish Fold ears? I do not think so.

The folded ears in a Scottish Fold cat are related to a condition known as osteochondrodysplasia, caused by a dominant genetic mutation that affects the development of cartilage throughout the body, of which the folded ears are the most visible manifestation. Because homozygous cats, who carry the gene from both parents, suffer from severe bone and joint issues, and so breeding for that type is widely regarded as unethical, we can conclude that Lulu is heterozygous, carrying one copy of this gene plus one copy of the normal gene. Because Leo is a British Shorthair, having carried two copies of the normal gene, the chances of their offspring having folded ears would have been 50-50, depending on which gene they had inherited from Lulu. A more detailed description would be beyond the scope of this forum, so I suggest that you look it up on Wikipedia.

Wonderful mama Lulu, fluffy papa Leo, and lovable big brother Latte recognised the red Churu packet at once when it was brought out and were immediately excited at the special treat that awaited them. Now that Mila, Mona, Loco and Emma have acquired the taste for delicious Churu they too, will be just as excited when the red packet appears in the future. A big thank you for showing us the current photos of Tete, May, Nagi, Noah, and Kotetsu. It was very heartwarming to see them very happy in their new homes with their new families.
