Love Seal back then more, still do, but no one ☝️ came close to his style. And preforming on stage, he made you seat on the edge of your seat waiting for him to take it to the top.
Wow, am I in some alternate reality or something??? Seal with a full on hard rock band backing him? This was most awesome...somehow I totally missed this when it was going on in 92...so good...thanks for posting this, and hope you and yours are well.
There are only two performers who can adequately belt out this classic Jimi Hendrix tune, and they are Seal & Lenny Kravitz. Granted, they bring their own groove, but both do Jimi justice.
Patrick Barnes What does it matter if they do regardless? He's a human being with or without them.. Everybody has scars, some of are scars are more visible than other people's is all...
Nice cover from the original Jimmy Hendrix, Hey Joe. This is also the exact melody to the other modern hit song by TI's What chu Know from the King album. Hits never die...they stay alive through many generations forever. Now that's interesting.
lol nice one, his name's actually Gus Isidore, London based guitarist still rocking on the guitar today, you can find him on the net, Facebook etc. He was also guitarist for Phil Lynott's Soul Band in around 1980-ish. There are some vids on TH-cam.
@@Лариса-м9ы7хseal made several albums some of them were brilliant productions you have to look for albums not for songs.... this song anyway is not by seal but an arrangement from jimi hendrix
@@Лариса-м9ы7х no rock as rock in itself about seal, he plays a pop mixture made of rhythm & blues, funk soul and dance. all referred to late 80th and the 90th. that is not as funk soul from the 60th and the 70th, but more global, for global mass as market was in those year. the point is also the high level of sound production. they don't use today similar expensive, because people doesn't buy albums for high fidelity home sound
He must have waited a long time looking for a guitar player who was black, afro, left handed, cowboy style rock boots and played a Strat. But this Jimi lookalike is no sound alike in fact NOBODY PLAYED GUITAR LIKE JIMI HENDRIX. This version of Hey Joe was lousy and dragged out. Wake me up when it's over. Just watch Jimi playing Hey Joe at Monterey pop festival in 1967 and you'll see what I mean.
Still listening in 2021 and loving it. What a bomb !!! 🇿🇦
Try 8-14-23 at 11:28 from Hagerstown Md. This 67yo brother got it cranked......what you don't know ? Roll your window down vibe with me.
Seal is entirely self contained, his "Hey Joe" cover displays his talent magnificently and thoroughly beautiful as a musician.
Seal is the bomb! Didn't know he did this R&R stuff! Amazing! Great band as well!
But he's so smooth with it !
Seal blows me away with his musical abilities. He can sing anything! ❤️
When he hit that note at 2:15 took me over the edge 🎤
From the Movie Soundtrack to "Set It Off" with Queen Latifah. Great film!

Doubt it Gus Isidore plays like Jimi Lefty upside Down ....@@colleenvanocker2689
It's 2024 and am here enjoying this masterpiece
Me too. Nobody other than Jimi could ✌️❤️🌼
Best version of "hey joe"

Do you think those scars on seal's face look ugly, weird, and scary
Both of them inject stylizations that detract from the anger, the thrill, and intensity of this song. Still good, but Seal really kills it.
Patrick Barnes What does it matter if they do regardless? He's a human being with or without them.. Everybody has scars, some of are scars are more visible than other people's is all...
Kravitz is Mickey Mouse! A poseur!

Ladies and gentlemen please give a big hand to Samuel L Jackson on lead guitar.
Lol its Gus Isidore actually. Check out his other stuff. He's a killer guitarist.
Looks thin lizzy on the guitar 🎸
Dude playing guitar looks like Phil Lynot form Thin Lizzy.
Do you have any other good songs from Seal??
what do you mean

This is good seal good at this music don't like his his 1 o 2
I love seal, but he's not Hendrix
Seal is terrible at playing Hey Joe. Please stop murdering this song. Take it out of the line up...
