At SDCC 2018, Wynonna Earp's Katherine Barrell (Nicole Haught) talks Nicole's arc in season 3, WayHaught's domestic future, and the Earper fandom is so special.
sometimes i really don't listen that much i just stare at kat. but she does really give great interviews. she really has her head wrapped around the show and the interactions of the characters. i love the fact the cast and crew are so active in making sure they only want "nice people" working on the show. i've heard so many people talk about how great it is to work on wynonna earp because of how kind, fun, and welcoming everyone is. kat is great and i hope to see her in many more projects.
As a foreigner ... Look .. english is not my mother language.. so hearing katherine talk is sooo good! I can understand everything single word! And the sentences always have something new to learn! When is not the word is the way she says.... Really good!
I definitely think these were all the perfect questions to ask!!! I think the door is wide open for the baby and if Wynonna will ever get her back! And I love the scenes between Wynonna and Nicole -- I think they're hilarious!!! I do think that Nedley (sp?) is a key person in Nicole's life...not just for saving her, but I think we've only scraped the underneath with these two and I feel like there's a lot more that can come from their relationship. As far as Nicole...while she is my favorite character, I still want to see more in terms of story lines with her. I'd like to see an entire episode (or a few episodes) based on her, where she's not just sick, laying in a hospital bed. I mean, obviously the ring was following her around, but it's Waverly's (now). Is this some sort of sign that only Nicole can save her...I don't know, there just has to be more to the reason for her being the sole survivor of a massacre. And as much as I love the Wayhaught relationship, if they were to do something like this, I can see Nicole getting out of her normal and pushing Waverly away (at which point, in the end, brings them even closer than before). I don't know, it'd just be nice to see even more back story to her character and getting closure to the questions that have been posed. Loved this! thank you for posting and sharing it!
