Even here, for example, the only reason you and I can be commenting here on our nice computers/smartphones, is because there are people being treated as slaves somewhere else in the world, forced to build these gadgets for our use and pleasure. It's hard to think about, but it really is just how this world works. And unfortunately, this fact won't be changing any time soon.
