Once in a while, maybe every 1-2 years, a set comes along that just totally blows me away. I can tell you in no uncertain terms that I will be listening to this for many years to come.
After more than 20 yrs of playing records I can safely say that this girl is killing it, which is rare these days. The technique, energy, style... I don't even like trance (except goa or 90's), but I thoroughly enjoyed her perfomance. It was a pleasure to watch. We need more high skilled female dj's in our lifes.
Her mixing is on-point and deliberate. She's not afraid to switch it up. It reminded me of the 90s techno mixing styles. The tunes are way better though 😊
This is my new listen to 18 times a day boiler room set. Otta plays nothing but HEAT from beginning to end. That psytrance tune was nutty and that was just the beginning!
So refreshing seeing new talent in the scene. I think everyone has seen enough of artists like peggy gou, Charlotte de whitte and Nina kraviz to last a lifetime

Was curious what OTTA represents but She is dropping a well balanced rave set with great mixing skills. Nice to see new talents.. bringing also old skool vibes to the seen! I can imagen her rocking a stage back in the days at love parade..
I've listened to this many times, so as other mixes from Otta, and so far this one is my absolute favourite! I hope I'll see and hear her outstanding performance this year at the Hasardeur festival :-)
20 years ago, techno was fast (around 140bpm), then they started to slow it down, not sure why. EDIT: techno got so slow nowadays it reached house bpm ratings (125-130)
@@Kopitarko in my opinion, if we are talking about Berlin 90s, schranz techno was a response to illegality of raves. You never knew when rave will end and all tried to have more in minimal time. Then came calm. And scene changed itself to longlasting parties. So the pace go down. Can be mistaken for sure.

This is one of the best sets I've heard in a long time and came across it by mistake. I'm typically a trance fan but love all styles. I will be seeing this beauty end of October in Glasgow. No pigeon hole stuff, very eclectic choice of music and the crowd loving it

Insanely good mix Otta. Dear Boiler Room when did having so many people crowding the DJ become cool. It used to be just the djs people, now it seems to be a bunch of people more worried about getting on camera than the dj. Love what you guys do, but the djs deserve more respect...imo of course
