How was decending? Is it a technical decent?
During the competition there is not much descending, most all the time climb. But when finish & going down to the starting point, you need to apply more braking. Just be safe & don’t rush. Service the bike and check both on the brake & shifter cable, to prevent it snap. If disc brake, check the brake oil.
