The Most Current Zenith of U.S.A.F. Air Power.....I watched several Mass Launches @ Incirlik A.B. of the F-111Fighter Bomber stationed @ RAF Lakenheath... Visited RAF Lakenheath on several occasions....Wonderful Memories..
For years the F-15 owned the world as the best air superiority fighter ever built. It was never defeated in air-to-air combat. As I witness the crowning of the F-22 as the hands-down best fighter on earth, I'm a little heartbroken. The F-22 will pick up in stealth what the F-15 lacked, and we'll all move forward as STILL the baddest-assed air force on the planet!
Being there thinking what a weird noise their engines make, they are a very unique aircraft, never did find out what those little flaps were that opened and shut above the wings, at a guess cooling fans while the aircraft was engines running
We were there last year watching these fly with the F15's, simply turned up by chance the same as this month (Sept 2018) and the B1's are at Mildenhall just up the road. We're a huge fan of Lakenheath but never get any information of aircraft
@Mr. Mueller not to mention, while filming motionless Raptors, he completely disregards 2 F-15's screaming through the center of the frame on full after burner.
No external tanks on the F15s? External tanks on the F22s? I presume the Raptors are preparing to fly back to Langley. But, all F15s back at Eglin ran centerline tanks all the time.
Why didn’t they make the F35 with the same stabiliser shape as the F22 🤔 looks awesome🤩 And why didn’t they give the F35 a full glass canopy like the F22 and the F16🤔🤔🤔
Lovely aircraft. I always assumed they would replace the F-15s at Lakenheath, rather than the F-35. The F-22 being one of the few aircraft the US have not exported.
Yeah, I doubt this one ever gets exported. Even when retired, it will probably still hold precursor technologies being used by it's upgrade or replacement.
What the hell was that?? In the description it says, "....very intetesting departure..", interesting why? Because you never saw one actually go airborne? That's because you pulled the camera away too soon, just to show another one scream down the runway, and then you pull off that "interesting" maneuver with your camera again, and again until there were no Raptors left. I've been pretty hard on you, so I won't go on about the total disregard the camera shows for 2 Eagles on full afterburner screaming through the frame, as it records a Raptor parking lot. Almost 15 min. of film time = 1 F-15 make a true departure. Find some work done by Peter Oxley, on the tube here, and then give it another crack. I guarantee you'll be happier with the finished product as well.
I hear you but when you in a mig or a su and you hear that tone lock and you had no clue a f22 was in the area you won't be worried about how squat the plane looks when your yanking banking and climbing while praying to god for help as that amram gets shoved up your tailpipe. 😂
Yes , I think you are right , to me , visually , it looks awkward on the ground , I realise they built it to be low (compared to Eagle .) for easy ground crew access . Just my opinion .Prefer looks of F35 , better proportioned . Wales UK .
fred Ted I gotcha. Just like with women, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Many people don’t like the looks of the F-4 Phantom. I think she is a beautiful beast. She is kind of like a muscle car of aircraft. When it comes to lines and sleekness, I love the F-15. Take care.
Supercruise capability allows them to reduce wear and save fuel, which is handy when you have a jet engine that pushes out so much thrust, besides they forgot the marshmallows
No afterburners because they're not F-22's. Probably just Ford Mustangs with cardboard frames resembling the Raptor tossed over top of them. That's why you don't see any of them leave the ground. Probably a military tactic to push up inventory numbers.🤐
It’s a very capable aircraft, and still holds some time to climb records, but with the 22’s awareness, thrust vectoring, radar, and cross section (or lack thereof), the 22 is quite superior. A group of 15s would be fish in a barrel. It’d be over before they knew what happened. In fact, the good old legacy F-14 with its APG71 radar and Phoenix missile would’ve been a dangerous adversary to the F-15 BVR. It could track and engage 6 targets at once with the Phoenix missile at over 100 miles, well out of the range of the F-15. That’d be an interesting fur ball to watch.
They've worked since the plane's inception, why mess with perfection. I assume you were referring to the Eagle. Did you know the Israelis were the first to use the F15 in combat, not the US. Just a fun fact I thought I would share 😁
They are Navy Seal torpedoes. Each one carries a member of a Seal Team to drop near an enemy shoreline, who then steers the torpedo like a small fast Sub towards the intended target. They then eject up a cliff side and pull a parachute to a safe drop on the top, carry out their mission and use an Aston Vanquish to get the F out the scene, leaving the enemy open mouthed in awe! Mission accomplished Captain! But shhhh...it's all top top top secret clearance only, so thank me for the rundown on whatever we were talking about. Over and out! JB. Oh and to answer the question, Yes! They do fuck up the stealth a little bit, but that's why they are painted in American Airlines colours, Middle East pilots are so inbred they can't see better than a short sighted Goat. So yeah, it's all been thought out really well. Night night everyone X
As a fighter yes As a command and control platform the f35 is superior On the same side with the new F15 that is one team that I would not want to go up against.
Enough money worth of jets to buy another RAF! Or another Royal Navy! Such as the cutbacks in defence by the Tories. What we rely on to defend what's left of the Empire couldn't fend off Argentina if they decided to drop in on the Falkland Islands again. We can't compete with the top 20 countries if any of them decided to play war games. Two Destroyers at sea, and two Frigates with only one of two carriers at any one time....and the RAF and Army isn't any better off. Nobody can compete with the US and their huge military might, but we could do much more than we are just now. Best keep buddies with the US, just as well we're pretty much the same people after all.
While passing by, F15 will say to the F22 you are all talk and no action man. You have not been battle tested while I have over 40 years with not a single loss.
F15's and F22's, this must be aircraft heaven.
Huge fan of both aircraft. I am glad to see them with our friends in the UK.

We are lucky to be able to train our pilots along side English pilots. They have some serious talent in their airforce and always have.
Ground Crews make this plane fly. The Pilot gets to wander around in the sky but on the pavement she is All Mine!
Whispering Death....The Raptor. Nothing beats this aircraft 🇺🇸🇬🇧

alec cap If you want to find out about any visitors and what’s flying try a website called Fightercontrol
Wish you'd have actually shown them taking off instead of cutting away before the wheels leave the ground.
Busy week at Lakenheath...... th-cam.com/video/m0X4_ay3WN8/w-d-xo.html
Ps, love you America 🇺🇸, from England 🇬🇧 ❤
Best video I’ve seen a must watch with head phones.
Video starts at 12:25. (Departure)
Busy week at Lakenheath...... th-cam.com/video/m0X4_ay3WN8/w-d-xo.html
I thought they needed a push to get them air born = 12 mnts of no takeoffs
Remember the F-22 Raptors are not just the worlds best Stealth Fighter in quality & numbers...they are also DECEPTICONS>
If you look closely she's sharpening her claws on the taxiway.
Still feels strange looking at Raptor with 2 external bags.
F 15's & F 22's, this is one bad ass gang.
Are these f35A based at lakenheath full time now?
A squadron of F-15s + a squadron of F-22s = a ridiculous amount of air power.
DEATH FROM ABOVE ⚡
Apex predators
Rename the video F-22's rolling around and sitting still. Great job of failing to capture a single jet break ground.
@Mr. Mueller
not to mention, while filming motionless Raptors, he completely disregards 2 F-15's screaming through the center of the frame on full after burner.

That's because the 15's at Eglin are C/D models, E models have conformal fuel tanks. Hope this helps :)
Why didn’t they make the F35 with the same stabiliser shape as the F22 🤔 looks awesome🤩 And why didn’t they give the F35 a full glass canopy like the F22 and the F16🤔🤔🤔
FF? Which base is this?
Brilliant video
amazing power...full fuel load...non after burning take off in like no time
At sea level, long runway, no ordinance, rotate prior to midpoint on the runway... mil power is fine. No need for AB.
Lovely aircraft. I always assumed they would replace the F-15s at Lakenheath, rather than the F-35.

321gates no export will ever take place with the 22. There’s so few of them anyway lol.
F22 crossing back over the pond?? Just wondering as they seem to have large drop tanks.
What the hell was that?? In the description it says, "....very intetesting

Can't get used to the looks of the Raptor-always looks "squashed" onto its undercarridge to me ? Love the Eagles though . Aircraft Modeller Wales UK
I hear you but when you in a mig or a su and you hear that tone lock and you had no clue a f22 was in the area you won't be worried about how squat the plane looks when your yanking banking and climbing while praying to god for help as that amram gets shoved up your tailpipe. 😂
Just my aesthetic point of view - as an aeromodeller ! Yes it's a good plane absolutely .
fred Ted It’s probably the big tail fins that give it that impression, which also one of the reasons for its great maneuverability.
Yes , I think you are right , to me , visually , it looks awkward on the ground , I realise they built it to be low (compared to Eagle .) for easy ground crew access . Just my opinion .Prefer looks of F35 , better proportioned . Wales UK .

It's a beautiful bird, that's for sure!
What, no rotation?
This is a beat down on how long it's taking to launch these jets. Even ATC is bitchin at them
It was the pilots bitching at ATC
Looked like the f22 struggling to get off the ground 🤔
Why are they carrying unstealthy fuel tanks on a stealthy fighter. Can they jettison they entire unstealthy pylon assembly while airborne?
Going to iran tonight?
why no afterburners on the f22?
They don't need it for take off
or to go supersonic
Supercruise capability allows them to reduce wear and save fuel, which is handy when you have a jet engine that pushes out so much thrust, besides they forgot the marshmallows
One word: SUPERCRUISE!
No afterburners because they're not F-22's. Probably just Ford Mustangs with cardboard frames resembling the Raptor tossed over top of them. That's why you don't see any of them leave the ground. Probably a military tactic to push up inventory numbers.🤐
Wow awesome Afterburners!!
Some would say the F15 with a experienced pilot would rule
Nope! In test dogfighting *ONE* F22 Raptor regularly takes out 6 F15s before they ever know of his presence! Look it up! 😮😍

Nope, F22 crushes them, which is saying something because the F15 is still very badass.
What camera did you use?
Something just not right on the aero on that airframe.. Who the hell needs vertical stabilizers as big as that..
They've worked since the plane's inception, why mess with perfection. I assume you were referring to the Eagle. Did you know the Israelis were the first to use the F15 in combat, not the US. Just a fun fact I thought I would share 😁
FF on the tails to let us know they are Fuckin Fantastic
That's what 3 billion dollars looks like.
You can have the f-15. We'll leave a few for you. Stay away from our 22's!
I had to buy new speakers after the F15s had taken off 🤔
Don't those external tanks defeat the purpose of the stealth on the F-22?
yes, but you don't need to be stealthy on a long flight across the ocean. They wouldn't carry the tanks if stealth were needed

Demo of paint drying?
Amazing!
was exspecting a "MITO" takeoff, way too long, f15 takeoffs were more exiting.
going into harms way...I mean headed to do some harm
Superior to the F-35 in every way. 👌🏻🇺🇸
As a fighter yes
As a command and control platform the f35 is superior
On the same side with the new F15 that is one team that I would not want to go up against.
Except avionics.
God that’s looks awesome

Well at least RAF Marham has the F-35
are british pilots flying the raptor
No, the F-22 is banned for export. US Air Force only.

At $250,000,000.00 each and $1000.00 per minute to operate....you don't lend these out.

Combat is the true test
summertime in ALASKA
I like F-15 better than F-22 because I like something I can see and touch! 🦅. 😀
With the money they pay for these things, you think they would at least give them a finish coat instead of leaving them in flat primer. :P
If they would just give the F15 thrust vectoring it would be the non-stealth F22. That would make Russia and China shit themselves.
