I love the lightning temple. It kinda feels like a classic Zelda dungeon.

13:06 there’s actually something funny about this dungeon. You can actually get to the boss room with ascend, It won’t actually trigger the Boss fight but I just think it’s funny that you can do that
I did that, popped my head into the room, took one look at the four hives and said "Nope." Then descended to finish the level.
I also ended up there! I got confused at the fire boulders because when I recalled them, they just exploded...so I tried ascend and ended up bypassing that part entirely. 😅 Very cool that you can use the mechanics to do that, but it confused me for quite a while because I hadn't gone in order like I was meant to do, so I got a bit lost.
It's also funny because it adds mystique, whereas in the older games you had to unlock the boss room with a boss key. When I first ascended into that room, I knew there would be Gibdos but I didn't know it would be a boss fight.

The Lightning Temple was actually my favorite. The Gerudo are amazing AND they have a connection to Ganondorf. Their insight into their/his past is very interesting. ...also, Lady Urbosa's voice actress!! ❤❤❤ I adore Riju! Seeing her grow up from an insecure child to a commanding young woman was heartwarming. I'm so proud of her. Also, yes, the music in this game is AMAZING!! ❤

I was not prepared for the Queen Gibdo battle right off the bat. She nearly pummeled me! Poor Riju. I left her in the temple for about a week while I gathered supplies and strength, lol.

Favorite level by far. Very classic feeling, particularly to OoT's Spirit Temple. I do wish the Sage cutscenes varied a bit or built on one another just a little. The characters are so great that those scenes feel a bit bland, even if technically it was the character's first time learning about what had happened.
Love the gameplay. Keep up the amazing work!
The lightning temple was definitely my favorite temple in the game. As soon as I started walking down the dark hall with a lit torch I felt like Indiana Jones. Breath of the Wild was amazing, but this game makes it feel like a prototype which is insane.
I wonder if Riju snapping to summon the Avatar for link was a nod to Urbosa.

I don’t. Agree that she isn’t around that is. For whatever reason, mine is always around when I need it. For me, the one who is the hardest to find is always Sidon.
The lightning temple is definitely the hardest of all of them so good idea doing it second instead of last

There actually a location I found in the lightning temple where you can skip straight to the room of ascension. Heres how to do it: after the first queen gibdo fight go through the first hallway to the end of it ascend through the ceiling and you get to the puzzle. At video Time 6:50, solve it, and there's the way to the room of ascension. I know there probably not very clear instructions
If im being honest, I ascended to the seventh floor a million times to see if I could just fight the boss early😂 (i mean shock fruits are just nerfed riju strikes but a lot more convenient)

The Queen Gibdo boss was the highest battle for me I had to restart 28 times and then I beat it
If you take of your clothes in Gerudo town after the lightning temple you'll get thrown in jail. Maybe there are other ways to get thrown in jail?😅😂

Something i reccomend for queen gidbo is shock fruits and a elemental weapon that does over 25 dmg bc without one i died like 10 times but with one i only died 1 time also use the light when u destroy a gibdo nest
