Great review again. Own a 23 Black 402A 3.5L. It is very nice on inside. You are correct , this 3.5 is fasssst. It has amazing torque at very low rpms. Such a capable truck off road. It is very well thought out and provides so many needed tools. The Raptor nod is appreciated and makes the truck look good. Love the unique dual exhaust and tire/wheel set up. I do believe Ford has set the bar in this segment.
I’m my personal opinion I do love the truck a lot, but I think black would look better on the truck so you can have the orange and black theme on the truck and it can match the grill and badges too!
That’s what I have. Looks great but in my opinion I think the antimatter blue is THE best color out there. Blue is oranges complimentary color so it pops just a bit more than black. But I do like my black baby
JB, great in-depth review of the truck. I agree that this is bar far the best “off road” half ton. The only place I think Ford struck out on these new F150’s are the mirrors. I they they look really odd, small, and low. Other than that, I think they’ve done a fantastic job. Appreciate the video.
Great review! This truck definitely has superior capability than trail boss and rebel based on the equipment you can get on the tremor, for starters, approach angle, the standard 33 inch tires, the front torsen diff that works in 4hi and 4low without moving a single lever... the 3.5 ecobeast, towing capacity, trail control, suspension travel and looks 👍
Beautiful truck. I can't get over the price. I don't know what trim I'd pick. I would rather a short bed, more of a off road feel, look and options wise. I'd use it for hunting and camping. Prices have to come down.
Tremors are hard to get. I’ve got a 22, my son is trying to find one and we’ve looked from the Canadian border down to Dan Diego. If you’re going to want the base model it’s going to be 65ish 75ish for loaded with blue cruise . Most big dealers have more Raptors than tremors which doesn’t help. 23s for orders are done. You’ll have to wait for a 24 to order
I like this truck a lot. Like you said this colour is great - the orange blends nicely here, though I also like it in white. I'd spec it mid range and get the cloth seats though I think, which should bring price down some. Oh, and add a levelling kit to raise the front about 2". Nice review!
I almost scrolled past this review . I'm glad I didn't , one of the most conscientious and thorough reviews I've seen . Metallic Stone Gray ! Haha I love it also , especially with those seats . I never heard someone mention the color so much without saying what it was . I knew what it was , but it would've driven me crazy if I didn't .... That has every option I want . That work surface is so worth it . Conservatively I would imagine that I would use that at least every other time I was in the truck .... Good job
Solid review. Thumbs up. That front center console fold out flat work surface is the main reason I am not even considering any truck other than one of the Ford F150's, the loaded Platinum, the Tremor or the Raptor, leaning towards the Tremor, though I do wish it offered the massaging seats that can come with the Platinum. It's too bad Ford doesn't offer that fold out flat work surface as an option on the Expedition and Explorer as well. For me, it would cause me to consider the Ford suv route instead of the Ford pick up route. Oh well. But what an awesome feature. As for the exterior color, I agree with you, this grey with the black trim is beautiful, though personally I'd prefer it be a darker grey. Still, beautiful, and I would consider it over my normal favorite, all black. A question, if you will: Does that 1" wider stance of the Tremor translate to a wider, more roomy interior cab too? And does the Raptor's even wider stance translate to a wider cab as well? Thanks.
Im a ford guy when it comes to cars, especially mustangs. Im a little more open minded when it comes to trucks tho ad this is just about a perfect half ton truck if ive ever seen one. I'd feel like Ford was taking the Tremor seriously if they stopped removing content from it. So far, I've seen that LED license plate lights are gone. Ambient lighting in the cup holders, media bin and bottom of the doors. The temp settings on the climate dials are gone. Glove box light gone. Lower trims have lost connected navigation and park assist. Outer A/C vents have lost the dial to close them. I'm sure I missed a few. Some of these can be added by the owner if they are willing to spend a fair amount of money to do so and not afraid to tear things apart on their brand new truck.
