I loved the way your clearly described the different denominations.
A couple of questions for you:
    1. Would you agree that the current doctrinal confusion among Christians denominations that you accurately described is a product of the principle of sola scriptura?
    2. At the end of the video you conclude that there is no true church, all of them have some good in it, so it really doesn’t matter which one you join. This is profoundly unbiblical. Jesus built one Church (not hundreds) and said that there would be one shepherd and one flock. What you have right now is hundreds of different flocks, each of them going their own way in different directions. This is obviously not the Church that Christ built. Did Jesus fail in building his Church?

I believe the doctrinal confusion is based on how Christians interpret the Bible or are taught to focus on a particular doctrinal theme in the Bible.
On the second question, I was focusing on the physical denominational churches that exist today. Sorry if that wasn’t clear. I tried to clarify in the introduction that the church was once universal, but that disagreement led to the church splitting. I can’t wait until heaven where followers of Jesus worship together without the signs.

      @@kenesepp thanks for your reply!
I agree that the confusion comes from the infinite number of ways Christians may interpret the Bible. And don’t you think this is an obvious consequence of sola scriptura? If there’s no other authority that binds your conscience other than the Bible, then obviously Christians, following their conscience, have the right to interpret the Bible as best as they can getting to hundreds of different doctrinal conclusions and there’s nobody that can tell them they are wrong in their interpretation. The Church Christ founded never functioned that way for at least 1500 years, and for a good reason: it’s impractical, it’s not what Jesus envisioned, and it leads to the disintegration of the flock of Christ.
On your second point, if there used to be one Church going in one direction but now there are hundreds of churches going in all different directions, isn’t that the proof that Jesus’ promises (one flock one shepherd, the gates of hell will never prevail, etc.) failed?

@@thejerichoconnection3473 I think the Bible is the revelation of God. I just think that we make following Christ too complicated. Instead of doing kingdom work, we focus on the what we want the church to look like. I think the intentions are good, but we go too far. Most of the orthodox denominations believe in Jesus, which is the essential. The other issues that lead to churches going their separate way are human convictions, secondary issues Jesus main focus was to go about the kingdom business, that is reaching and discipling people so they can reproduce and do it again. Unfortunately, the grew, different cultures, political reasons, doctrinal disagreements led to where we are now. I believe we must keep it simple. Focus on Jesus, follow his heart, follow his teachings. Trust in him alone, as our Lord and Savior.

There are thousands and thousands of Protestant denominations because they are all Man Made and 500 years old or less. Yes, they all disagree on what doctrine and belief is and if you don't like one, just leave it and start your own. Jesus created One Church, and it still exists. All of the Eastern and Oriental Catholic Churches are loyal to Rome and the Pope. They merely have some ceremonial ways of doing things, but not doctrinally different. The One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church was created by Jesus and exists today. Their Bishops can trace their office in an unbroken line back to one of the Apostles. There is no such thing as "the Bible Alone". Martin Luther had Zero Authority to declare Sola Scriptura.

The point of the video is that they are all denominations, including the Roman Catholic Church, doing the best they can to represent Jesus. Ultimately, the Orthodox, the Protestants split because they disagreed. However, each denomination contributes to the body of Christ, doing their best to represent Jesus. We can learn from all of them. In heaven, the signs fall off. We don't get to heaven by following man made structures. We get their by following Jesus, who died for our sins.
