Ah, I remember the foreigner in a special event in Tay Thien Monastery. I tried to call u back bcos the main of event when u can see and gain experience about Vietnamese culture would be a little later :) But u left so fast ..hihi..now I know the reason :)
A very nice video. Now I am curious about monastic life. I will search my library for information on manasteries. The black dog that we see, especially in the last part of the video, seems to have a very good life. And it looks a lot like my black dog. :)

Dennis Hey!!! Good to read from You. Yes, the lifestyle they practise is quite interesting. I wanted to make maximum one hour video but had over 25 hours of videos from 3 weeks so ended up cutting the videos into a very detail 2 hour film. Yes, the dog is very zen! He knows exactly which time and where to go and followed us everywhere - from meditiation and prayer halls to eating halls. I would highly recommend to stay in a monastery for some time. For me it was interesting to see how my body reacted to wake up at 3 AM and then to see, observe and analyze my mind and emotions while sitting crosslegged over 1.5 hours in the morning and 1.5 in the evening together with many others...and many other things of course. Wishing You well, peaceful and happy!!!
