Fun little fact about autorevive too is that unlike actually dying, if you die with it active while playing as [spoiler] you dont instantly lose your form change and just come back with losing your progress!!
with stout heart sigil and Steel nerve you get a total of 20% dmg reduction as most characters have a defensive masteries that give you 5% dmg reduction while you have Stout heart, War elemental gives you a straight up 20% dmg boost ignoring dmg cap, if you have your dmg cap maxed out, you will still deal 20% more dmg.
Improved block or just blocking overall is slept on. Though it can't block everything, It can still make many fights easier by circumventing annoying mechanics and hard to dodge moves.
Most people will instinctively dodge and there are a lot of skills in the endgame that you can't guard (or the guard breaks easily), but yes, guard skills are pretty good (especially for Charlotta and Vane).
Block doesnt animation cancel your ongoing move while dodge does, thus why dodge feels way more reactive in combat. I don't know how effective it can be to block right after dodging though, oftentimes I dodge too early and it puts me in a rough spot
Stamina deserves an honorable mention. It actually gives a bigger ATK boost than Tyranny as long as you remain at high HP without the downside of getting it cut by 20%. I’ve found that Tyranny is more useful once you reach a certain point in the endgame (won’t say what for spoiler’s sake), but can kinda handicap you if you’re still progressing to that point because if you’re taking on bosses that match your power level, you will get 1-2 shot, so you need as much HP as you can get. Combine Stamina with Potion Hoarder, or healing CPU characters if you’re playing solo, and you won’t really need to worry about really low HP and you’ll have the max boost from it all the time. Again, this is probably better for progressing until you reach that point where you need to keep your HP under 45,000, at which point Tyranny is 1000% better.
@@spadetheghost but did you have 2x Tyranny like me ;) Ive never heard anoyone speak on using 2 of them on same character :D And then you add the crab one if you level it to max.
I have read from somewhere else where Stout Heart also has an unwritten property that gives 25% dmg reduction. You also get 5% dmg reduction from defense nodes while under the effect of Stout Heart. If you mix this with Steel Nerves, you can have up to 40 dmg reduction due to multiplicative stacking.
Just a sidenote, war elemental actually exeeds the damage cap so you can go another 20% over the damage cap with it which is why it is so good. But then again it does not exist for some of us sadly.
It's funny because I reached the end game and I started fiddling with my sigils just to min-max, I removed like 3~4 damage sigils and I still had reached the cap, so I started picking utility sigils instead and came to the same ones as him.
Drain is an incredible sigil in the late game giving immense sustain - I desperately need a higher ranked one the best I have is IV. Nimble Onslaught is also incredibly busted, I love it on Narmaya. It gives longer Invulnerability after a perfect dodge, speeds up SBA and reduces cooldowns all in 1 effect. Linked Together is also another extremely good sigil that should be on every single AI buddy.
Drain is worth it on its own when you have maxed out Supplelemental, because it counts as a separate damage. Really great for sustain mixing it with potion hoarder to survive for longer.
@@HatsukaRaigeki oh I wasn't sure about that, so supplemental also drains? That's pretty nasty. Too bad it can't trigger Roll the Dice, at least AFAIK.
@@Malacite Supplemental is considered a separate damage hence it has its own crit, can trigger drains, can trigger more link chains etc making it optimal to build everywhere. Not sure about Roll the dice. I will test this after.
Fight or flight is actually quite a good pick, if you already have improved dodge + perfect dodge enhanced sigils. With the right setup, the penalty from the sigil's -50% attack can be mitigated. I ran that usint captain, i can still easily reach dmg cap on 200%++ by using buffs and debuffs. While the perfect dodge status let me easily rush infront of bosses and go ham while others needs to stay away to dodge the bosses projectile. It is also useful for triggering invul state and run straight toward a downed player and ress them, ignoring all den lazers and etc.
the 50% attack penalty can be nullified with just level 30 tyranny ( 2 lvl 5 tyranny sigils and some if you have maxed awakening weapons) so yeah it can be ran very well with captain solely because captain has armor break as part of his kit to debuff and cap damage. said skill also come off cd fast due to captain's sigil. secondary nimble traits also helps a tonne in capitalizing on this sort of playstyle.
