Honestly, EXO is the standard of current groups, because they marked the beginning of idols having more ambitions, pushing a different sound and distinguishing current music. Since they debuted, they have been in an experimental group, which does not focus on a single style and is always in constant change but without losing its essence, something that even the most popular groups could not have. Their concerts are crazy and this is also why they motivated other agencies to replicate their concepts and shows.🤓

Maybe the reason why EXOL will always have EXO back even after everything that happened we've been hurt left behind and hears words from other people but the thing that keep us loving EXO is EXO themselves. The first one to be hurt is them not us but they still hold on and seeing that made us hold on too. Being an EXOL is never easy I became a EXOL when EXO is hiatus I got nothing to hold on they have less show to watch or any guesting. Many ask me why EXO I should stan younger group or a group who has many shows for me not to be bored but the funny thing is being an EXOL never made me bored even if they have less show to show. Then I realize their music is enough for me. Their music that never fails to touch my heart and make a stubborn and hard hearted person like me so soft. So if you ask why EXOL is still with EXO even after 11 years. What I can say is that there music that bonded us. We saw how they struggle and still thrive so who are we to complain until the end we will always be EXOL and I never once questioned this decision of mine.

I started stanning EXO year 2021. It was a time where there are already many famous kpop groups but only EXO got my attention. It was even their hiatus era. I don't even like KPOP music before but EXO changed my mind. They are really great. Despite with all the challenges happened inside their group, they remained one of the top tier KPOP group. They have great music, all members has their own amazing talent. I really regretted not knowing them early. I really love EXO!! EXO-L is the strongest fandom!!

I became a fan in 2020. And yes there were so many groups that people suggested but Exo caught my eye and attention immediately. Their aura and performances were just extraordinary for me and that made me stay. I am now a proud Exo-L and wil be for life.

Most of the new exols here are the one's who doesnt like kpop but somehow exo got their attention and then became an hardcore exol and now cant leave exo alone..
EXO was definitely a rookie monster. I remember at that time 2nd gen, such as Suju, SNSD, 2ne1, BigBang, 2pm, etc were still huge and popular (even at my country).
But EXO who still a rookie became million seller, won daesang, had a really huge fandom, etc.
Funniest thing is that some people at that time underestimate EXO and they even had anti-fans even before debut. Some (atleast people around me) are questioning 'why is SM debuting new BG when Suju and SHINee still huge and popular?' 'what's with the concept?' 'will the 2 unit work?' And when they debut with MAMA some are called them the biggest mistake of SM ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.
But I think, what makes EXO big even untill now (after 4 years hiatus) is their talent, passion, and the strong fandom.

I give serious credit to exo ls. Théy are really strong and passionate. Imagine losing 3 members, year by year plus big dating scandals. The pain, from both fans and exo members, yet despite that, the songs they release are always a hit! Its sériously amazing.
Old exo ls may have found another new group now, but whenever exo comes back, the old ones always find their way to return and listen to exo
Right now, another 2 exo members have issues, 1 has a family and 1 has cheating scandal.
Just watch out, despite these issues again, they will release a song and itll become a hit. Thats just the cycle of exo. They are the standard. They may have big issues, but the fans and gp will never not listen to their songs, their songs are always the best and always represents KPOP in general (no mixture of so called western vibe to appeal the other markets) They always aim songs that most koreans and Asians will listen.
As usual, the normie koreans tend to talk about exo without Lay, but both I and the whole fandom of EXO-Ls will continue to stress,yell,and inform that until he says so himself, our faithful and beautiful Lay will and has always been an Exo member and Exo is STILL A GROUP OF 9 MEMBERS NOT 8! EXO is the blueprint to the new kpop right now. People make fun of exo concept before and now every group wanna have their own concepts. Once you listen to EXO, it's hard to find the same quality as EXO's. Despite growl is the national anthem, we need to admit wolf is good and it's EXO's 1st win in music show too :)

Exactly, though EXO is in hiatus or less activities but still kept relevant and can fill the whole stadium. Cant deny the power EXO hold till now that we're been 11 years.
The difference between EXOLs to the other fandoms is the love that we have throughout the years (ups & down) even if EXO in hiatus or having less activities we still love them and kept supporting them in a group or solos. Even we stan another group we kept coming back to them cause they're our home. They're the ones that give us happiness in our hard times by listening to their scolding that we should live like that and we should more focus on ourselves and to their songs
yes, I was hurt a lot while being a fan of exo, but exo and their music made me want to stay anyways. while my life keeps changing, my love for exo doesn't. In the chaos and anxiety that is life, exo has been one of my only constants and were always there for me at my bests and worsts. To me, they are more like family than my real family at times. they cheer me up and give me strength to continue living when the world keeps trying to bring me down. That's why as time goes on and I get older, exo only become more and more valuable and precious to me. So no matter which other groups or idols I go to, like every other exo-l, I always come back to exo. I always come back home.

This video should go viral. Many new kpop fans nowadays don't know how popular exo is back then. They always downplay what exo has contributed to the kpop industry. I'm just glad to be one of the millions of exols who stayed for them throughout the years. I'm a fan since 2013 and seeing them be active again after long waiting makes me very happy. EXO is very very huge even 11th years after their debut. Many groups came, many new faces and sound, there are also other talented arrists in k-pop. But there is something in EXO which cannot be replicate, something special that only they have. I don't know what it is, but I'm seeing people to discover and starting to stan EXO in 2020, 2021 and 2022 when we barely could see or hear any news about them. Yes, they got that power.

I don't remember exactly but EXO used to receive the medals from Korean government in around 2018 for "pushing international Kpop popularity". However, more importantly, when mentioning EXO, I believe that their presence has shaped the kpop gen3 culture (somehow I think it's like the backbone ), both for idol and fandom culture, and turn Kpop history to the next page. But we don't have the official prizes for being the ones who " originates the gen3 culture" right? I feel like people pay more attention to the popularity (especially the international), and the contribution for "popularizing kpop" are more highlighted compared to "being the base".
Nowadays there're a lot of people trying to downgrade EXO contribution while not knowing that many activities that their idol and fandom do originate from EXO era. They compare a lot of things just to prove that "exo contribution is not that big", but they don't know how exo achievements mean in the past era...
