i am also working on finishing all of my series. i'm keeping them in a separate pile so i don't lose track of them lol i've finished one and i'm almost finished with another so thank you for inspiring me to finish them all
I refuse to not finish series because I’ve had times where I hated the first book but loved the others. I also refuse to dnf a book because I always start out hating it but the end usually changes my mind. And when I finish it I can truly decide if I want to go read another book by that author. But everyone has their own preferences.
How do you decide which books you are going to buy vs. check out? I have a serious problem with if it isn't on my shelf did I even read it. I wish I could use the library more.
Kind of a mix of factors. Some books my library doesn't have so of course I have to buy those. Beyond that, kinda depends if I love the cover and want it displayed on my shelf or if I'm really excited about it and think I'll want to re-read chapters then I'll buy the book. But it's also just kind of random haha. I always know I can buy the book after I read it to add to my shelf if I want, so I try and use my library a lot.

LOVE this video series. Def encourages me to finish started series but there's also just something enjoyable of watching a video where you FINISH a series. It's that checked off on the to-do list feeling without actually putting in work 😜
I originally DNF'd Caravel when I first read it but really want to give it a second chance as I LOVED Once Upon a Broken Heart, but I'm scared I won't like it.
