Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always heard the Torah and the Old Testament in the Bible are the same thing...I've only read up to 2nd Chronicles in the Old Testament and then I skipped to the New Testament so I could catch up in Cross Training at church (missed a lot while I was teaching Sunday School at a different church), so I don't know if they really are the same thing or not. Does anyone know for sure?
The Torah consists of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The Old Testament has more to it than just the Torah. Hope that clears it up. :)

I have some Jewish friends who say that if I would just read the Torah, I would convert, but I converted from Christianity to Wicca as a teenager and went a little crazy and then at 21, I converted back to Christianity, so I kind of want to stay Christian! LOL! But since I've read all of those, I can tell my Jewish friends that I already read the Torah! Now if I could just deal with my Catholic friend who says my church does everything her church does, so we should just call ourselves Catholic! LOL
